  1. That IMO is not real agony it’s him taking in the meaning if his goal and the possible potential of any sporting physical affection being misplaced. All’s well that ends well hugs crushes maybe but Clarry escapes to a moment that he will never forget. The whole MCC plus Demon members area standing in total common support clapping and cheering for him. Totally a response for the ages as all our summer and pre season challenges are washed away further evidenced by the team song with Trac’s Dad in the circle with Goody. Now will the media please back off and reconsider and recognise the moving on, the grieving and the experience has provided some lessons but really none that should or appear To be a breaker at trade time. It is a grand old flag and its heart is beating true to whatever is in store for the next half of the season notably 12 rounds which we could win anything from say half a dozen or double figures to cement a Finals berth. Go Dees ❤️💙🏆
  2. Whatever do you think it’s a knee injury? If at all it is his ankle. Unless you have any updated info!!!??? Despite the Club claiming no news here we have been mislead previously with injuries and concussions that bring about changes in Thursday or late withdrawals occasionally. Only JV for Spargs needs a reality check despite his team ethos and courage. Also would dearly love either Pup or Sestan given a chance In the future or when deemed best available option or need.
  3. You have missed the ship It’s sailed Chad has signed for 2 more years at Sydney. what the club has been putting out on a few fronts is more genuine than in the past. It just may turn out that dropping those first 5 games, weathering the storm and negative focus has bought the group closer together rather than further apart. Adversity can swing both ways. The win against Brisbane must feel so good within the 4 walls. The fact the club got Koz’s Dad to do what must be one of our best indigenous guernsey’s (although I’ve generally been impressed with all of them) and we’ve gone away as a group for a big win must really solidify the group. Long may it continue and long may Kysaiah Klem Paul Kropinyeri-Pickett remain a Demon Beautifully put GW sounds very sincere and vvery promising.
  4. Wrong. Look at the ladder. Yes ONE WIN outside the eight and if we win 9/10 games our % will take care of itself. While I think you are so premature to give up our chances of making Finals is that we have just stated to get back the traces of a respectable game plan and we were a vey even team on Sunday. Plenty of time for Lever JVR Howes Kynan Brown and Jeffo to assist in gaining the consistency required to be a viable force. Obviously serious injuries wouldn’t help but we are managing our resources ( our players) well so they can be at their best later when the whips are cracking. There is also a number of unreliable teams on 4 and 5 wins now and it may take one of the Clubs currently on 6 wins to open 2 spots in the Top8. All is open to any Club to sustain the winning habit and I think we may have started to believe in ourselves which is extremely important. Go Dees ❤️💙
  5. Absolute champ both as a player and teammate. Will play to 300 no doubt and hope he is BOG on Sunday. Trac a Demon great and plenty left in his career. Thanks for your 200 Trac and all the best in your cooking exploits also. 💙❤️🏆
  6. Agreed always going to or coming from trouble!!
  7. Agree Centre best but wing otherwise very good Windsor summary.
  8. I partly agree about depth but feel both Spargs and Sharp have had ample time to clinch regular spots as of now. Time to give Pup ( Kynan) a go and take a chance on either Sestan or Adams if the injury or form necessitates. But depth wise I don’t think JV or Jake are bad to add at this stage of the season You have not heard of AdaMMs.? Windsor to preferably centre or wing
  9. Most of that is not first option half back requirements unless you are a running type. Bowser is good mostly in defence and Riv Salo and Judd can run down field. His disposal is a major factor for him to maintain his form. And he is doing that quite nicely without all the additional tasks you have all of a sudden invented for him.
  10. No hive Jake another run in the Casey Dees with say 3/4 of match time. Too often our guys are promoted too early by Goody. Safety first way to go.
  11. I am concerned about you Goff. Form nearly back to best given his injuries and 30 age bracket.
  12. Even better when you only have to bus it 8/10minutes and can enjoy a Canadian Club and dry bev when watching a stirring comeback in the third an a good old fashioned surge in the last from behind. And a wine when home with your meal and after is the cherry on top. Talked to two older ladies on the bus from Victoria who flew up and stayed in the Valley and they had a ball. Our interstate record is now 45 wins and 31 losses plus a draw in the last 77 games out of Victoria. That’s about a decade of excellent travelling. includes our Flag and Finals also.
  13. Was musing about Logan during the game and wondering if we could get him on board some how. Fine player in the making just as Disco is now starting to consistently prove.
  14. Agree Langford is a Bont in the making. Should be moved forward at times iMO to see how he can change our line up especially if not successfully scoring. His marking looks very useful and a straight kick to boot. Lindsay is nothing like Angus and I am having trouble comparing him with a player today or even yesteryear. I Know he is good and am wondering if he could play half forward also part time where his height class and disposal would assist scoring and passing to teammates. Having casually suggested our 2 wingers could/ should play forward at times I have no idea who we move there in place. Perhaps Lingers of course and maybe Salo who might appreciate the usual issue of height when at half back. Interesting isn’t it when you have 2 guns no Matter how raw and inexperienced they are you can still see creatively the talent they possess. No wonder I still would like The Duke in the centre to capitalise on our new aggressive approach. I honestly think we have enough defenders in our Club talls and mediums and even smalls ( Bowey and AMZ when fit ) and maybe Sharp could be added see if he could gain some confidence. I feel he has ability but is not the real deal up forward or on a wing or even as a mid other than a change during a game. BTW Rooy should now be given the opportunity to gain confidence at CHB or FB at Casey. Adams should also be nearer AFL selection if the situation arises.
  15. Thanks RT for the update and value your advice that you have witnessed him play in under age Comp/ state teams. Interesting watch no doubt.
  16. And we are 15th on the ladder. That’s the good news.
  17. Talk about writing a young player off in about 5 words, Yes he is devoid of confidence. Disco should be in our forward line JVR needs a run in the backline and Petty up forward is probably the best option. With Lever returning in a week or two I wonder if giving Adams a go is the right time. Thoughts?
  18. Agree we need his positivity and class in the forward and centre areas. We have half backs to burn but limited class and finish ING. M Ove him Goody please.
  19. You didn’t answer m y question why you don’t rate Kalani ? I am saying again that he will go far earlier Than your repeated underrated options. A player that could well be another Sam Darcy won’t be left until Kynan was. That’s allowing for some very odd late players under the NGA rules drafting occasionally.
  20. Goody advised on AFL 360 that phe had some niggles and that it has been pre planned management for Melkie during this year. Some others are also in that situation. T m cause M aysie Maxxy co m e to m ind.
  21. It’s Jay Clark’s article in the HS last Tuesday that I have a problem with. He in the whole page or more made up scenarios that were not true and simply tried to show that he was going to leave at the end of the season to Geelong. He showed no Empathy for Clarry at all and I have no respect for his journalism as chief footy writer for the HSun. Robbo or Mike Sheehan would never have emptied on Clarry like he did. Let’s give him the support and I believe another Demon forum have suggested at 13 minutes in the first quarter we stop and clap for Clarry as a show of support. That is a most uplifting public show of worthy support of this whole saga for Clarry.
