Ed Langdon the (Inside) Midfielder
Rubbish he didn’t flinch once last year. I think he is of a wiry ( tuck but more bulked) variety. Let them try and tackle or catch him. Swans Gulden and Warner are not musclemen and they break lines and kick goals. It’s the speed and skill of which is the Duke’s no 1 wood. Get him in where the action is and to play a starring role in our redemption. ( Another little gem for you Dazzle hope it’s not too complicated for you to understand ).

Ed Langdon the (Inside) Midfielder
No one you would have to admit is less a tank runner than Ed. Whether the close in and strength to get free options on occasions is realistic time will tell. I know who would get free and that’s Windsor that’s why I want him in the centre for bounces and scrimmages. Like Kossie he could extricate himself. Also run freely through the middle with licence to bounce the ball then deliver. ( Do you understand now why I want The Duke in the centre Dazzle? To say that you can’t understand my posts now makes me not value your comments and judgement. Very simple explanations I would have thought. ) My back points need addressing if you are a little bit not in the know.

Trade Targets
Oh Grundy well it wasn’t the forward ruck that we required. He can play but maybe is just past his best. Looked fairly average on that one day in September against medium to poor quality IMO.

Where to play Caleb Windsor?
Just tweak his position to be a centreman and he will deliver the 15/20/25 goals and many passes to our forwards. And oh a BandF or two, plus a Brownlow and a Norm Smith or two!! Just by getting him front and centre in the middle of the ground and the play from each quarter start and alap after every goal kicked in the game. ( except when on the interchange fairly briefly). Easiest move for our better version of Chad Warner of the Swans.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 7th February 2025
Our haste in resigning Marty Hore was ridiculously breathtaking. More haste less speed ( ie less Hore) We didn’t need another HBF like Hore more likely a mid like Culley or Boy ( Roy) George as a HFF/mid.

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
Jacko had a chunky man’s body from Dsy 1 so as a comparison was successful immediately. Not sure of his prior footy but bet it was against Men rather than under age. He had do m as my skills also you couldn’t teach. Looking at Jeffo it’s not his footy skills that are lacking it’s getting the ball to be able to use them. Mow that he has started maturing in physique and moving around the forward line he will through instinct ( still the best way forward can get the ball ) think Fritta Kossie Cyril all so great to watch. Its gong yo be very interesting our forward setup but one good thing is all our magnets on the board capable of playing in front of goals are so different that we should be able to mix and match very capably yo confuse the opposition.

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
What a curious comment. None of our forwards are Wayne Carey at this stage!!! But you are wrong in saying Jeffo won’t make any difference in our forward line bring great or not so good. But what he brings to the table are forward finishing skills that help our goal kicking and team play in ground pick ups and handballs to assist. He is a different cat to all our others except taller and slightly more physical than Fritta. Height and marking and straight goal kicking also are the package. Like Fritta 6/8 possessions with 2/3 goals and 2/3 assists will keep the opposing defences honest. Improvement from Disco JVR and Billing’s and the new boys Harvey and Lindsay are other pluses to our scoring potential. Trac is liking among this group waiting to score big time. No not great yet but by September who knows how good we might be.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 7th February 2025
Of the first four you have returning? I gave only one if those in my Round 1 tram TRAC. IMO Chin ( lucky if he makes it as his last season half was not good enough in goals and not featured greatly since Cmas at training and plant of others at HFF could maketh grade. For exp. AMW Lindsay Sharp Bowey Salem I’ll bet all those will kick more goals than Chin yes prob not as many tackles but hey goals win matches) Shane Mac again not enough training and only rough chance of say Sub and Fullerton has had no footy yet sO Must get further base at practice and at Casey. Trac of course has done running etc all summer long and only missed some contact sessions. A blessing really and no bother to this fitness freak who will hit the season running out of his skin. A mix of mostly tried and true with some 2025 standouts Billing’s Howes and Petty will probably make it. Jeffo is warming to be favoured over AJ but it could go either way. Pretty good mix is probably the go with pace and skill the big new and the two L’s Harvey and XL could well be making their debuts together. XL is not fully match fit so could also be the Sub.

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
Gator. your assertion that skinny kids can make it and that it is BS that others need time is not reflected in the performances of many KP players more forward than back in reality. To say Jeffo has run out of excuses is ridiculously unfair. Like children footballers and sportsman grow up and perform completely differently. Otherwise you would have all kids walking at say 1 year then debuting at 18 yrs 6 mths . Sport is not an exact science nor is life thank goodness. We’ll always be surprised with players and their distinctive development. You are just impatient like OD. All will be revealed in 2022 and ensuing seasons.

Than who Narkle or Hill? Ridiculous decision if either are available.

Team of the Century (so far)
Which McDonald ? Tmac or James Mac? Also I didn’t get T and J Rivers In the team mixed up. I was commenting on a post with T.Riv named on the HBF. I reckon he could be in the Team but in the em or I/c. Upon reflection I may well have I underestimated Jarred R but are happy with Jake Lever at CHB to be honest.

That’s positive and horrible news but doesn’t change his ability to get out on the park any earlier unfortunately.

Farewell Adam Tomlinson
Should have not resigned Marty Hore so quick who is a forgotten man when replacements are mentioned for probably Petty and Lever but not necessarily ideal for May or McDonald.

Team of the Century (so far)
Clearly it is hard to include some rather than others either a games say 100 plus or AA or B and F placings. But some players have to be there because of the fabric of their footy and Club heroics and performances and also as fan favourites and impact around the Club at that time. . Ungarie Boy am sure that Petty Rivers Frawley and who’s Langford ? On the wing. Are very near selection or emergency maybe. What about Tingay Schwartz Green ( is he better than Nibbla for instance ?) Love Tmac at CHF for his 2018 year and his role in 2021 flag. Perhaps if he plays this season and is in another Glag team he would make it I reckon. Also Ungarie some positional changes would add to this team. First ruck criminal not to have one of our elite champs Clarry or Trac in it. Centre yes is good but start with our best. Viney as HF would be ok but Robbo as FP and Davey either HB or HF better. Salem as IC or EM. JMac on forward line ok also Brayshaw as HB and Hibbo as starting back a plus. it’s all a bit nit picking as all are worthy players and Demon Spirited to their bootstraps. We all see different reasons and favourites but Angus and Farmer both deserve a spot plus for short term greats May and Lever are shoe ins together. Yze also is hard to leave out for his freakish skills back or forward. He is IMO better than Salem who could claim injury has diminished his footy legacy. perhaps an analysis after 2/3 weeks of contributions might get some popular favourite team of the 21st century.!
