2025 fixture wishlist
You are wrong about the Anzac Eve game. It’s Melb turn to be host. Most of your other contrived tips are way offline, some are a joke only.

Farewell Alex Neal-Bullen
You are entitled to your opinion G not so great but you are wrong. Nibbla has requested this prior to other matters. and if you read his request it is perfectly clear that he is taking his family back to SA after a wonderful decade of Club loyalty and service. Thank you Nibbla you have been a great Demon and still are. All the best yo you and your family.

Time to go Goody?
What a hotchpotch of amazing events you have cobbled together accusing the Club of not having multiple PlanB’s for all these instances. Yes Brody wasn’t our finest selection, but your replacement answer for Angus is breathtaking. Angus had not had a concussion since 2017 when he was crudely and once in a life time happening cruelly perpetrated by a thug. Sorry we don’t have Bont or Cripps running around at Casey waiting for the same time injury or fitness halts both our champs. Riv has proved a good substitute andbperhsps Kossie could be given more time on the ball. Our senior Coaches are selected before the Casey job and that mix is normal for an AFL club. You are completely misguided about Perty and Kate. Both jobs are vastly different and. CRO is the most vital administrator of all. The president to my knowledge is an honourable position and not paid. Trac has already indicated that Simon is not an issue and your 6 yo comment about changing Clubs if we lose Trac is a kindergarten or primary school approach, Grow up and support the Club after 5/6 years of success.

Caleb Daniel
Gets the ball and disposes generally neatly. Yes a fighter and gains meterage. It’s a YES from me. .

Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
Unfortunately there won’t be any fans watching if we play the same bland defensive and slow game plan. 8 goals doesn’t win any ( many) games of footy in 2025. We need a positive leader and offensive attitude to attract fans who will get excited by the date and speed of our footy. If we don’t change Coaches and attitudes the Clib will go backwards.

How Many Weeks For Kozzy?
About as poor form as your reason for not attending the Pies game last Friday night. Blaming Nibbler for putting his family ahead of his career is wrong also. Then for you to conjure up it as a reason for you to not go is even worse. Pathetic in fact. 10 years of loyal service a premiership hero not sure we need fans with this memory or sort of appreciation.

Farewell Josh Schache
No the worst mistake was not using Schacky from about 5 mins. Before 3/4 time instead of Tmac. The use of the Sub rule even in the GF in 2021 was sad ( like Heppell’s goodbyes at Marvel) and Simon has not improved in 3 years further. In fact it needs a Royal Commission!!!

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Here here KDF.

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
You are making a comparison with a pert developed AFL player of ONE season. Caddy is physically more ready but still needs another pre season and will reap the rewards in 2025 and onwards. Despite his Junior record Jeffo is at least another season needing physical growth and probably a great start in the VFL next season. He may come back ready for AFL but his pre season is crucial and his different style of play he will be known for. He has come ahead this season more than most anticipated and could still be cherry ripe for a debut in early 2025 depending upon our forward setup and his performances in practice and pre season games. He has got a forwards skill in him and like Fritta feel he will at some stage make his mark in the AFL. Hopefully 2025 may be the year.

14th
Really we had 7 bad games. Lions, Pies twice, Dogs, and Freo twice plus WCoast. Swans ok and 4 losses under a goal and 11 wins. Better Team Management you mean Coaching which should include our Forward and Mids inc. ruck plus of course our Sub ( no 23) management.

When you knew 2024 was over?
You judged my post right WCW. All losses provide info or reactions but like the Club need to be assessed and plans formed to solve problems etc. Until it’s mathematically possible I generally don’t write off season or a game during quarter as it’s always possible like Round 23 vs Cats in 2021. In for the long haul !

Farewell Alex Neal-Bullen
Ten years of everything you could ask a player to do. Alex has been a wonderful Clubman even above his playing role which has shown genuine improvement virtually every year. And it is after ten years. A wonderful contribution all ways round. Alex and his family deserve our best wishes at the same time negotiate strongly to replace him.

Angus Brayshaw Forced into Retirement
The fact remains is that all that was offered was far too soon for Gus. Perhaps it should have concluded at the time with the. Moment let us know if you are ready or change your mind. No hurry or pressure. And that’s not bring critical to any one as we all know and handle grief completely differently. That’s why an open answer covered all bases. Be interesting to see if Gus accepts the AFL invite to the motorcade of retirees at the Finals?

Luke Parker open to move
Different sort of player actually. More complete and no doubt an upgrade on Lachie and Jack

Luke Parker open to move
Many layers not players sorry

Luke Parker open to move
Who will we get as a replacement? Think through the many players in this move. Jack has already indicated NO according to advice. Anymmore suspicions? Maybe that the sun will come up tomorrow morning?

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
Yes CF never let a good story etc. What about his injuries his fitness his season prep etc. All major reasons why Clarry is not at his top but you never mentioned ONE. Shame on you. Consistent with some of your posts which are generally unbalanced and quite hurtful on occasions.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
Sue you might never make a change if you always wanted someone better. You have to take a chance in selection and can’t make changes in life. Where there is will or a way. Kynan needs games give him a chance. Good for experience or get Jeffo in and make a positional change or two.

When you knew 2024 was over?
With fans thinking like that is it any wonder they drop off. By 10,000 plus once we lose badly. I was at that game and really we ran out of puff after 3/4 time plus it was revealed Maxy played under duress, Spargo was never fit and Billing’s got no kicks as the Sub. If you rationalise that form and Sydney’s following wins in a row then it was not such a bad performance. Thstswhy I would never give up for the 4,or 8 as a result like that. Teams lose and reasons can explain that in more depth thought and a lot more faith for your team.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
“The no one better “ argument never stands up as long as you have a player available. Again very iffy saying just for his health IMO.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
I disagreed with your baking of Clarry for being unprofessional about his fitness this year. That was clear and obvious. I outlined how his efforts IMO do not represent him in that light. Thsts the issue. But let’s hope it is all for the better of Clarry now and for a bumper return next year when we again see him at his top winning games again for us.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
You are not understanding the totality of Clarries issues from the start. I thought most fans understood his mental physical and fitness challenges when it all came out during his return in pre season. You have just called Clarry unprofessional when he made every effort by himself to prepare for the year. He was not under Club control but training with other support and doing vast amounts of running. Plenty of film/photos were featured during this time. Eventually he came back and started his Club pre season but was clearly underdone although we hoped he would get better game by game. Yes he has/ had done some unprofessional things but not his attempt to become fit for the season. That is totally not fair and he should be lauded for the effort/s he has tried this season. Also the other injuries that have surfaced have impounded the pressure on his fitness levels. I think some / many/ few were surprised when he was selected from Round 1 vs Sydney. Not sure that was the wisest move for the long term season plan really. Lets just learn from it all that Clarry is in a much greater space now and give home time now to concentrate on ridding himself of those injuries and when able commence a Clubprogram pre season during the off season. And that we will see the real Clarry again in the top echelon next season in the mid field.

And Jefferson please.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
Please ask our Coach about the Sub rule. He is one of the few who totally misunderstands it relating back to last season.
