Jude Bolton on the table

I'll probably get slated for this, but what about Green for Bolton and pick 11. Or Green + Miller for Bolton and 11. I just want that pick 11 damnit!

That [censored]-jockey Drain Russell reckons Green to Sydney might be on the cards.

Alot of Swans fans are acting like he has been rubbish the last season and a half. He might be finished.

Exactly. There's many Swans supporters that'll be happy to see him go.

He suffers from Woewodin's disease in that he goes to ground too easily, and is too slow. In addition, his disposal is haphazard.

Don't touch him!!!!!!

They wouldn't do Green for Bolton as a stand alone, let alone pick 11

Bolton has been AA.

What are you on ?

Bolton is getting close to past it. Ask any reasonable Sydney supporter and they will tell you as much.

Also, on 'ology you reckon that TJ + 21 is too much for Bolton. Does this mean that you rate a slightly better-skilled Travis above a younger and infinitely more consistent Green?

What are YOU on? I imagine if we mixed my 'stuff' with your 'stuff' we could have a wonderful time. Might both wind up in the back of an ambulance though.

Bolton and Kirk have been the engine room of Sydney's stoppage machine.

IMO the 2 most important Sydney players over the past 5 years.

But they've both taken a hell of a beating doing it.

Bolton is a bit of a Todd Viney - hard insider but ordinary kick.

Why is he leaving, because he wants to come to Victoria or because the Swans reckon he is spent?

If the first then TJ direct for Bolton I'd do if I couldn't get 2nd & 3rd rounder elsewhere.

Miller plus pick for Bolton I'm not keen on, would prefer a similar age player for Miller or pick.

Think I have to agree. I would be more inclined to go TJ and Miller for Pick 11 and a third rounder to use on Meesen.

Bolton turns 28 in 2008. 183cm, 84kgs. 187 games. Crash n Bash inside midfielder. Good at stoppages. Good tackler. Slow. Poor disposal. Form on the decline.

No thanks.

Hardly concurs with stated strategy of trading for picks and building around our 23 and under talent.

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form
