GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Brisbane

I really feel we have them several of their goals by poor mistakes and skill errors.

Tighten up and we should take this.

PF. He does look good every now and again !

More than acceptable quarter. Our pressure has been great and general skills good. Some single moments (Langford dropping the easy handball receive, Jeffo missing everything) cost us but we are playing well.

We have to move Harris Andrews around.

Saw the Lions at Brisbane airport yesterday. Harris Andrews was walking like an old man. Not sure what they injected him with today, but yeah, moving him around a lot would help.

Probably some stuff in some old Essendon lockers somewhere.

Plz stop the uncontested marks and FFS Fritsch look at what you are doing

fritisch 1v3 just trap it in??

Leave him alone. He's kicked his bag of four for the season. He deserves his rest.

That effort by FRITZ shocking.

Senior plays are letting us down.

Petty and Fritsch are playing like scrubs

Petty is just lost out there. slow, fumbly, dropping marks and turnovers plenty.

He's looking atrocious.

Harris Andrew is man handling JVR today

So many basic errors

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
