15 or 16 a side would help solve the issue. I've seen people here suggest even down to 14 a side!

16 is the obvious move. The AFLW has that number and even then you get a lot of congested play.

The big move would be two players from each team required in each arc at all times

Richmond struggling badly

Maurice Rioli has just done a hamstring and Sam Banks is out with a shoulder injury and its not even half time.

Tigers are winning the inside 50’s and they are 1 goal to 10 against

8 different players kicking behinds in just over a quarter not helping!

Considering it’s played under a closed roof, it’s shocking!

Yze is under the Blowtorch now

Sure, it keeps the game moving but a throw is a throw

It's sad. See the original rules.

Add Taranto with concussion

Tigers with bugger all rotations

their kids will be cooked in 5 days

Bathwater time Demons!!

2.12 in the firts half then 5.1 in the second.

Richmond providing another reminder that goalkicking is hugely between the ears.

Okay, here's something freaky. Am I right in thinking that Seth Campbell went from being the only Tiger to kick a goal in the first half to being the only Tiger to kick a behind in the second half?

The press were all praising them for their brilliant last quarter comeback, but Collingwood were incredibly lucky to beat Carlton.

For a start the Blues were playing one short( Hollands).

Byrne missed two from 30m, either one of which would have saved the game. This guy slotted onefrom55 , post-high against us with, I think, his first kick in AFL footy.

Also Oscar Steene’s mark in the goal square in Q4 was after the most glaringly obvious push in the back of Dean.

I tipped Carlton, since I think Coll. are over-rated, and I think the better side on the day lost.

Holy Moly that sub heading is an absolute mess.

He got charged with stealing cattle… AFTER… they were rescued… shortly before… they were going to be slaughtered. So someone else rescued them, then he stole them off the person that rescued them?

Or did he steal cattle and take them to a slaughterhouse, in which they were rescued by someone else, upon which time he was charged?

Or was he charged specifically after the herd was rescued, but before they were going to be slaughtered?

Cow? Dare, he.

I read this on Tuesday and am pretty sure that buried deeper in the article it said that he didn't even end up playing any games for Carlton.

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
