Fritsch broke his foot prior to the Freo game, managed to play on the weekend still with foot broken, then got ruled out for 5 weeks. That was updated to 6 for the hell of it. Then it was reported that scans showed his foot wasn’t broken. Now it turns out he is playing against GC and no one appears sure whether his foot is sore, broken, bitten or sat upon by a dog or even amputated. Several serious types on here are so disgusted at the amount of mayo on their ham and salads that they’ve filed complaints to @Demonland.

The Gods have humour eh ...

Right…I had solid mail that Fritta was out for 6 weeks, broken foot bone. Now he isn’t named as an out, I’m totally baffled. Is it a stiff up by the comma team. Is my mail bad? Seems like a really odd situation

we wait for the late change ...

there is no way Fritsch plays

don’t trust teams named 3 days out

I’d imagine he’ll be a late change. If not I suggest incorrect rumour mongers be fined/suspended from Demonland or even be criminally charged.

Good luck with that as the initial report (although player name withheld) was posted by @Demonland 😁

Then they’ll have to suffer the worst punishment possible:

Me being slightly disappointed in them.

Well I'm disappointed. Got home from work tonight & opened my parcel from the footy club of my Max gawn 250th mug, only to find it chipped & a bit broken off.

Evidently his dog stood on his foot. Backed up then stood on it again. Kingy has banned the pooch from the rooms and training.

Any way it is what is and we just have to work around it.

or maybe a Red Heeler and a Blue Heeler…

After this round it will be the first time all the teams will have played the same number of games with 1 bye. If we win today we could be 5th on the ladder with a game clear.

Been happening for a while. Yet same old folks on here still take those same people on face value because they're too scared ****less to call them out lol

Daz even the experts get it wrong a lot of the time.

Look at the post after yours, where Mitch Cleary got it wrong on Riv playing this week.

We don't need to blame our insiders or track watchers, who try and give us accurate info, which I personally love to read.

I would much rather read Dees info that is wrong, than people fighting and arguing and putting each other down, which is just boring garbage.

I enjoy your posts too Daz, even when you occasionally get them wrong. 😉

Spot on red.

I honestly find amazing how wound up some people get about this stuff.

I mean, who cares.

I heard Fritta's dog liked Fritta's footlong subway so he munched on it!

Turner and Melksham made the cut.

Melksham a logical replacement for Cross given the low amount of minutes Cross played last week.

Game 249 for Melk. 👏

Careful now, Dub. There are folks on here who get led astray by stuff they read. I mean, that’s their problem, but the rest of us have to hear them bang on about it for far too long.

I thought everything I read on a fan forum was gospel?

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
