Absent: May (personal), Salem (Hamstring), Viney (Achilles), Gawn (State of Origin), Culley (Arm), CJ (?), Bowey (foot), Melskham (?), McAdam (?), Rivers (Origin), Campbell (neck), Trelly (?), White (glandular fever), Petty (concussion), Pickett (Origin), Henderson (rehab), AMW (ACL rehab)

I thought Trelly was playing Kozzie's role in the blue.

should have gone all the way, Harves

Yep.

The odds of kicking a goal on the run from 40 metres out under little pressure are better odds of scoring a goal than kicking to a forwards advantage in a one on one contest.

Jeffo is impressing me and I think a lot of others with what we’re seeing right now. Great mark and hope he can finish

Just had a heart attack

Jeffo landed heavily on his elbow. I hope he’s okay. He’s going great guns

Why isn't he listed as your favourite player?

I’m a little surprised that the stream quality, apart from it breaking for a bit, is so good. It’s a shame they can’t put up a name with each score, but I guess beggars can’t be choosers

He appeared to be touching his knee afterwards as he talked to teammates

melky onley matthews moose mentha on blue
kentfield chandler -white second period

I know its a intraclub but you can just see the distinct difference in the way we are trying to play.

Compared to the slow down the line way of Goodwin in the last 3 years.

I know Simon tried to change it but obviously could not teach the run and overlap style I am seeing right now.

What a sight Caleb Windsor in full flight ❤️

wow Melky with the vicious tackle lmao

Been some jumper swaps White team reinforcements with JVR Steele Windsor.

Maybe Lindsay not the one to take kick-ins 😁

geez there was no pressure on the white ball carriers then

walted from goal line to goal line

30-45 seconds to go from a point against to a goal

Quite happy with my premium Jeffo subscription so far.

He always needed extra body strength to be able to do this.

Just has to work on those landings.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
