Jones might get some 'late' votes ^_^

Dont give up on Juice yet .

A year or two in the SANFL,

he may return with unfinished business on his mind.
I can see a montage of Juice getting back into peak form.

Well that's embarrassing and might temper a bit of the enthusiasm around here.

5 of the 13 listed left standing.

Frawley and Jones are the standouts, and ......... again ....... "Col has the potential" to be anything. Maybe this is his year :-((((

ahhhh, good to see the trend of MFC supporters overrating our young players and having unrealistic expectations for some of them isn't a relatively new thing.

Awww, c'mon Song. that's not true.

Anyone want to add Viney, Barry or Toumpas to the list? I hear they are absolutely burning it up on the track. They'll have 4-5 Charlie's between them once they've hung their boots up. Good days ahead

Please don't, that list is cursed!

Is Picket Fence holding you at gunpoint ?

Looking again at the question asked, it could still be Brock. Just not with us.

Sad but you may be correct.

From that list there are not many shining lights

Can we start this again with our new flock. Think the outcome may be a little different.

That is what I though with this list Grandold

It is really an exercise in masochism

Retro must be the way to go these days.

First the tanking, now Jonesy is making a late run in a 2007 poll (he's raced from 11 to 21 votes)

What else can we change in hindsight ? Lotto numbers? Can we clone Norm? The possibilities are endless

Who says you can't change history? ^_^

I understand but has the real possibility of doing you in as your chosen ones fall by the wayside.

Best to just have your favourites and keep them to yourself.

Had this weird dream last night where our Demons went on a prolonged winning streak this season. Will that do?

whats the point of a forum if I'm better off keeping stuff to myself ?

I would prefer the numbers

But a very good second price thank you

I think there would have been many a poster breathe a sigh of relief when their name didn't appear on the thread as they quickly scrolled down.

I know I did. : )

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
