There were three free kicks to us completely ignored including an elbow thrown by Davidson at Heath's neck and then they're gifted a goal.

Disgusting

I really hate Davidson

Thanks for joining me in this investigation 640MD. If you listen to the video at the 45 sec mark , someone says something like "Saturday Night", it sounds exactly like Gus. It's just as the camera goes behind this mystery man.

I suppose we will find out at training on Monday. In any case this discussion should be on the main board, and leave the girls game to support for them

Watched a bit they are going well

What is this umpiring

Disgraceful umpiring patch.

All that good work undone

Bang bang bang from the commentary 🙄 three whistles kicked the goals (that said, their shots were what needed to be done)

Typo

mahony there blazing away rather than trying to hit the lead

youngsters composure an issue for us

worst combo of pretending to be the tough enforcer and flopping everytime there’s body contact. Pick a lane..

One of the greatest pretenders I've seen in 40 odd years of watching footy. Impossible to like.

great effort and intensity

lacking composure hurting us. and the rubbish umpiring of course

still in with a great chance

keep it up girls

Lost all focus in that quarter & it changed when wotherspoon did a fritsch & chose to selfishly go for goal rather than give it to bannan who would have ran in & kicked a goal putting us further ahead

If you ever wonder whether one person can change the course of a game, we just saw it live. One umpire, three questionable free kicks, suddenly Brisbane are winning. That needs to be looked at.

Taylor with 2 howlers that turned the game

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Brisbane

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW REPORT: Geelong

Melbourne wrapped up the AFLW home and away season with a hard-fought 14-point win over Geelong at Kardinia Park. The result secured second place on the ladder with a 9–3 record and a home qualifying final against the Brisbane Lions next week.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
