Eliza is so good

I can't remember a player recking up so many possies in one QTR. It could be record breaking. She's just everywhere

With the loss of Liv Purcell, Kate Hore should be in the middle for the rest of the season. She is just so creative and wins heaps of clearances.

It's ungracious to talk about umpiring when you're flogging a team, I know, but this is so bad it's dangerous. Just wildly different interpretations of every rule, and zero interest in protecting players from reckless [censored].

Loved the way we held on to the footy under pressure and didn't release until we had the option to go to.

No hacked kicks, we kept possession and moved it forward really well

Yelled GO HORE!! when she kicked her goal

got a scary look from the wife

Since quarter time the Demons have been unbelievably good!

Running so hard for each other

Shelly Heath playing a cracking game

Mr and Mrs Fish

Why did you name your daughter Zippy?

Great that we didn't take the foot off the pedal in the last although we didn't convert.

A few thought last week that North have this season in the bag. I reckon Stinnear and the team are coming good at the right time as our game evovles.

So many contributors. Hore, Macca, Zanker.

Our second tier players such as Fitzy and Wotherspoon are massive contributors in taking the pressure off our forwards.

Our backline looked great with the likes of Gillard and Chaplin as well.

Great win by a team growing in stature and confidence as the finals loom

Thought we might have been fading a bit as the season has continued, but that was a tough win.

We've been relying on too few recently, but there were strong Demons performances all over the ground today. Really good to see.

Good response after last week.

Much better with heath in the team & hore just leads the way. Gosh we are blessed with great captains for our men's & women's team.

Need to bring it next week against Brisbane to

Should be a great test next week before the finals.

Should also lock in 2nd spot if we win yeah?

Good win. Not great. Good.

Last quarter again was … I get disappointed that we didn’t keep rolling on to a really really big smashing. I guess a short turnaround after a big road trip to WA

Zanker. Yes. Get her a bigger contract.

Kate Hore. Wow. Build her a statue.

Lizzie Mc. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Heart & soul

Tyla Hanks 🤩is just a star.

Shelley Heath. 100% every week 👏👏👏

Tahlia G. 💙💙💙💙💙 still only 21 but commands the backline

I want Tayla to stay. Great effort to get out there after the hit she received last week

Agree. That was a hit. She is a warrior. Love her in the red & blue. #TH7

Nah, that was a great win in a high pressure game.

I went to the game today at Casey Fields. Judd McVee was there wearing the Melbourne Scarf; Tom Campbell was there with his son. And more importantly Jeff Farmer was at the game as well. I couldn't believe it seeing the original Wiz at the game.

And for us suckers who travel down by public transport, train replacement buses from Westall to Cranbourne. 😠

But they are worth it. 😊

First but not foremost, thank you to Port. Second but foremost, thank you to our girls for a great effort today!

To the umpires: I just…no. Don’t get me started.

The middle stretch of the game was some really good stuff, after a shaky start and ending with our old enemy: dominance without reward.

But overall, loved our pressure and hard running. A few times I saw someone launching themselves for a tackle and thought, “There’s Heater doing her thing,” but no, it was someone else (although, yes, it was Heater a lot too!). Our physicality was great, especially in a game where Harris was pretty much out of commission in that sense—kudos to her for getting out there.

Once we got some possession, the Swans did well at enacting the tried and tested method for beating us. BUT I think (hope?) we’re making inroads on this, with players not coughing up the ball as much and being composed with the release, and getting the ball beyond the pressure layer more effectively (at times). We also often had players in much more quickly to mop up any error or provide tackle support to prevent an easy chain for them. We need this because in big games no team can be perfect. It's about getting numbers in at the right times.

I thought Lampard was steady in her return but as important was the flow-on effect across the field positionally. Fish vs. Rigoni was an interesting battle. I also enjoyed watching O’Hehir line up on McEvoy – she kept her feet in some big contests with a stronger and more experienced player. Gillard was vital when the game was there to be won.

All in all, very good. Mick tried some stuff, our players worked into the game and... dare I say it, no injuries?

Also hope to hear from first-time Casey attendee @FarNorthernD Were you shocked by the relative lack of wind?! Did you get your face painted? Play some mini golf?

A bit of a slow start but great from then on. Hore was back to her best. Zanker is a beast. Rigoni played her best game and Fitzsimon goes from strength to strength.

Idk if he played mini-golf but I do know he didn’t get his face painted. I did! 🤡
