Demonland is currently at $525 (I've split my $200 halfway between the two sites - as I promised it on both)...

Demonology at $300

So $825 in total so far. Can we crack the $1,000 mark before tomorrow night?

Yes Deanox - this is the amount if he is just selected - it will rise if he were to kick a goal.

i really really dont understand the hype about this guy. similar to nick smith everyone on this site loved him and he was a dud.

However, in the spirit of things.

I will pledge 20 bucks if he gets a game and gets over 40 minutes of game time.

I am only in for 20 if he plays.

Sorry love to put in more, but saving for our wedding.

Good luck with it, bloody expensive things they are.

Get your money ready kids, because I have it on very good authority that The Juice will be coming to a Dome near you this Friday night.

Awesome!

Bugger is i will not be there, as 2 of our 3 vespa's have shat themselves this week and require fixing :(

But i will stay true to my donation.

People better get ready to part with their hard earned...

Posted

Even though I know he'll play, I pledge $20, $5 for each goal he kicks. That's saying a lot for an unemployed 17yo! :P

haha ok who sent in a letter to sams mailbag?

a lot different that nick smith. nick was constantly injured but 'couldabeen' good. he never showed enough over a consistant four quarter effort, he flashed in and out, and no one call for him to get a game like people are for newton. newton has kicked 30 goals this year and took over 10 marks last week, which according to the sandy coach "most of them were contested". he only played 3 quarters. he is performing, unlike nick smith.

Still need a few more donations to get this over the $1,000 mark.

Would be great to do it before selection is officially announced.

Posted

If more than 3/4 who claimed they'd pay actually do if he's selected this week, I'll be very surprised.

Posted

simple... name those that dont !!

Posted

He's been selected... Hasn't taken the field yet.

I'd ask people not to just send the money into the club - the money is going towards the Demonology/Demonland 150 Club Syndicate.

Could all those who have pledged money please email [email protected] so I can forward you a form to send in with your money. It has details of who to write cheques/money orders to, and the address to send.

Ok Juice, I really want you to have a great game, but keep in mind I am broke and have to take the next 2 weeks off work due to injury, so please don't kick more than 3! ;)

    TRAINING: Wednesday 12th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

    TRAINING: Wednesday 5th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
