Are Carlton wearing a jumper tonight with Orange on the shoulders?

Surely not.

For a good cause.

C'mon Dees! At the MCG brought my Malaysian brother in law. Don't disappoint us.

It's the RESPECT game. Highlighting violence against women & children

Been a long time since i been to an away Blues game.

Didn't realise they have fake 'da da da da daah' chanting over the loud speakers as they run out 😄

No doubt.

I just think it’s an odd game to put a warm tone on the top part of a navy blue jumper, given there is 17 other clubs it wouldn’t clash with.

let’s see how it looks.

Sadly they play the abominable doof at 105db also

Venice, very nice. Veneto is the ancestral home of the Silvagni Clan 😎 Waving to you from the other, more scenic eastern coast of the Adriatic, my son has donned his Auskick Blues shirt to watch the game with me.

Writing to you from Dalmatian Coast in Croatia, ancestral of home for Carlton 80s Premiership players like Val Perovic and John Dorotich and also Allan Jakovich, two time leading goal kicker for the Dees in the early 90s. After some hassles renewing the AFL app, looks like its working now 🤞

May the best team win today 😊

I'm heading to Sibenick next Friday. I may catch you. I've got a distinctive Aussie accent.

I don’t know much but I know we owe the blues a good rough up and rousing win. It won’t make up for a finals loss, that we should have won a million times over, but it is something to hold onto.

Oh and Claz has been immense for our club and will go down as one of our greatest of all time with hopefully at least 5 more years of bang bang bang bang.

Let’s do it for Claz ❤️

Not there tonight. Back injury is pretty bad at the moment. Hope we can knock these Blue bags off

After doing at least 20 - 30 minutes of warm ups in the rooms then another kick to kick session etc on the park, i'll never understand why they're then asked to expel even more valuable energy doing multiple sprints. Maybe one to make sure any hammys don't go ping just before the bounce but multiple sprints?? 🤔

Just got to the pub (up at Mt hotham in true demon style)

Thought they had the wrong game on - was going what the [censored] are gws doing on the tv

Alright boys, reminder that the game has started.

The most out of form forward in the comp kicks a goal within 30 secs

I should have put some $ on that. It’s one of our specialties.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
