Should have had a certain goal then right on 3 QTR time. Kalani White really burnt his team mate then who was by himself with a paddock in front of goal.

First game though, so he'll get better I'm sure.

Kynan Brown must be real close to a call up

Langford and Lindsay both look ready for a breather.

Hope he gets a run soon. He has some great speed and is pretty bloody good through traffic.

Not confident we'll nail this one unless we really get back to our first quarter form.

jeffo drops a sitter on the lead, woey 2.0 tries for the miracle goal, mentha brings the pressure, hore works hard at ground level, billings gets it to hardy... casey back in front

but they win the clearance immediately, get the set shot at goal, nail it from 50, and it's back to 2 points their way

high scoring game

Jeffo clunking them all night and drops the easiest one of them all!

No, he was spoilt by a clumsy team mate. He is looking very sharp tonight.

Nice bit of roving by Mentha

2 really bad stuff ups with atrocious kicking which should have been 2 goals.

culley's kicking has been very poor tonight

but not as bad as pup brown who turns it over under zero pressure when he could have kicked for goal or passed it to two players free at the top of the square

he's never going to make it with his kicking skills

Geez, 3 very good chances for a goal all blown

Damm

Make it 4.

But then Cross Rove's and snaps off the pack to snag one.

Go Dees. We're working hard right now

11 up

We should be a lot more than 11 points in front

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
