Gee Heeney is good

From my view that looked an obvious mark to melks

I think lever could be the weak link today. He’s very rusty

SUB SPARGO OF NOW..... USELESS!

Umpires have done it now

They have made Melksham mad.

Happy with the pressure but too many dodgy handballs without looking and putting players under the pump.

I like the transition but need to be smarter.

Spargo needs to get his [censored] into gear. He is lucky to be in this team.

Mark?

Anyway. Good pressure that qtr. did some good things but gave them two goals with poor defending. Both on lever.

Yep. I agree.

Like the move of rivers on heeney, melksham looks good up forward and max is max.

But we've had the double amount of scoring shots & only 8 points up.

Turner done a few nice things down back

Representing on behalf of my family. Ironically my parents are in Sydney for a cousin's 50th biethday this weekend, while my wife is living it up in Bali this week. Got my seat, my dimmies and my bottle of coke and sporting my Naarm beanie. Let's go Dees!

What's a "Naarm beanie"?

Umpires shouldn’t be guessing. 🐕

There are 4 of them out there.

Both were absolute gifts from god. Still it’s an even contest.

Spargo out, Sestan in?

incredible tackling pressure, turner incredible, gawn great, solid work at stoppage, and that definitely should have been a free against lever but shush

I struggle ever week with his value.

Interesting football.

Big packs forming, lots of close checking when the ball is in the same area for a moment, both sides sending heavy numbers to the ball, and then whoosh when it gets loose there is often a lot of space and distance covered.

The only pack bigger than the ones on the ball is the one of people trying to chew Spargo's liver out.

Grundy doing well too.

Oliver getting his hands on it.

Maybe need a little more from Tracc in his 200 but he will storm home.

Was Kozzie benched after that goal....he disappeared in the last ten?

Spargo struggling.

Who is the sub?

Oliver's hands aren't what they once were but I still think that was his best quarter of the year

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
