Agreed. That said Dale Thomas is fast becoming a very good commentator, who is quick with good analysis on the run

They both look so flat.

Not as flat as i feel watching this Deevs

Dunstall talking about the Tigers not letting Essendon run away with it..." You want a scoreboard that reflects the effort you've put in."

If this quarter is any indication , I'd say that's exactly what the Tigers have.

Seven goals

Not sure about the footy, but I think we have the makings of a hell of a Wheel of Fortune team here, people!

Bombers must be happy with recruiting Archie Roberts at pick 54 in 2023 draft and Angus Clarke at pick 39 in 2024 draft. Both were excellent tonight and show how well prepared the youngsters are that come through the draft. Roberts especially is having a very good second year as a skilful hard running left foot defender. He was predicted as a top 25 chance and the bombers got a bargain.

There's another game at Docklands tonight, so I guess it's to allow enough time to clean and set up for the second match.

it's very odd that they've elected to schedule so many games in melbourne this round and then sweet fanny adams next

My AFL site is showing 12:35 for the start of Blues v GWS at Docklands.

Any reason for the early start?

At least it’s a half decent game this morning. Not like that tripe last night.

Has anyone ever watched every game in a round ever.

Split screen perhaps?

It's like the daily trifecta of Maccas, Hungry Jacks and KFC.

Only healthier.

Absolutely DS. Everyone supporting Gws I assume.

Hogan still makes me sad not playing for us but I always wish home the best.

Decent bloke

I really dislike a lot of Carlton supporters.

Edited by leave it to deever

Toby (B) clearly in a lot of pain but hasn’t come off. It looks like a dislocated shoulder 😭

Jordan Lewis absolutely hammering the Blues midfield for lack of defensive spread. And you can see it live right in front of you. If GWS continue to press their advantage in this regard they will win easily.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
