The articles on us atm are generally click bait garbage, where they contradict themselves paragraph after paragraph.

Most are theories and opinions with no factual basis.

In other words the usual standard of footy journalism.

Listen to Phil Davis on Whately. Bloke reckons there are "better jobs out there" - love to know which ones. Said the drive to Casey will deter potential coaches. He played for a club based in Blacktown, who play home matches in Canberra...did it impact the Giants? He said it detered players who left making list retention difficult...which players left our club for reasons other than returning to their home state or lack of oppportunity?. Dingley is 1 hour from Melbourne CBD...Have Hawthorn had issues in this regard? just junk hyperbole opinion nonsense. Sticking the boots in.

any update on what’s going on with the AFL’s audit of Geelong’s salary cap? Hmmm it was talked about then … radio silence. Hey if this was the DEES, it would be an ongoing story everywhere.

That's A-I for you!

It makes bad journo's worse!

Has Melbourne slighted Caroline Wilson at any point in the past? She's penned another article pot shotting the club and saying Buckley should overlook the job in favour of leading Tasmania.

“Believe there is a certain journo, his name begins with Jay (and yes ends as Clark) who is absolutely over the moon with Dees sacking Goody… and his mate Warner (or Mick as he might be called) are media gutter [censored] of the highest order.

Jay C is the type of bloke to probably kiss the mirror good night before bed”.

Anyone who coaches Tassie will have been forced into the job and all that is entailed in towing the line of the Gestapo AFL.

Jay is the kid at the back of the school gang....citing strong diction like "yeh mate"

Known up here as ‘Kerosine Mary’ throws accelerant about to inflame ‘the story’

Kero has gone backwards over the last 3-5 years, time to give it away before she loses all integrity.

Gerard Healy hates the Dees

Every week he says things that show he is biased not to us but against us !!!

Example 3rd quarter

Baker clearly crunched Langford in the neck

Healy - “just bumped him off the ball”… “fair in love and war”

Ball passed to Naughton and Dogs goal

Tom Hawkins - “Langford probably deserves a free kick high there”

Must say I don't mind Tom's commentary.

Watch Baker's face after collision, as it's the same expression as after many opposing player's infringements are against our Club. They look straight where the yellow maggot is, because most of them know whether the infringements are legal or not before they initiate it.

The larger point there of course is that most opposing teams instruct their players to take the liberty if they think they can get away with it, because against us it's OK to wack. Maggots turn a blind eye, especially if they have an interest.

“The [censored] kissing of the Melbourne players just goes to extreme levels."

Kane thinks Melbourne's hierarchy are petrified of offending the club's senior players.

KANE CORNES 💩💩💩💩💩

And then Kane defends MFC as a better option for Buckley than Tassie. MFC closer to a premiership which is what Buckley truly wants. Tassie is a pipe dream however Caro weighs in …

“It's even been suggested that there'd been unofficial conversations between [Melbourne] and Nathan Buckley before they sacked the coach."

🗣️ Caroline Wilson 🤡 on the Demons' interest in Nathan Buckley

That’s just speculation … she follows up with “I think”… that’s just speculation that she again is just mud journalism

Daisy 💩Thomas

Luke 💩💩Hodge

Caro 💩💩💩Wilson

Kane 💩💩💩💩Cornes

  1. Just heap [censored] on Melksham and Petracca

That's a person who's worried about his own stats."

🗣️ Luke Hodge on Christian Petracca's body language after a Kozzy Pickett goal

  1. The joint is a mess. Good football clubs don't leak and they've got leaks everywhere."

🗣️ Dale Thomas on the Melbourne Football Club

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
