I still think LJ wanting to come to us is still alive.

We will see.

Hope we see some development, but I ain't holding me breath

LJ, JUH and some more bang, bang, bang in 2026.

Can't see this one happening now. Even if Luke requests a trade I have a high degree of confidence that the moaning hypocrites over in the west will pull a Wade Derksen on us. Absolute guarantee.

If we got JUH the media would have a full blown aneurysm about our CULTURE 🫠

All in (whatever we have to put all in now) to get Luke Jackson, gotta get him, he has to be a big part of the future plan and surely he'd want to come home with Koz now and get things humming again...my goodness that would be delicious indeed for 2026 I reckon we'd have a good tilt.

I can’t see any world where freo let Jackson go

Unfortunately I can’t see Freo entertaining any trade unless Jackson is effectively forcing himself out (and as much as I’d love for him to come to us I hope his personal situation isn’t so dire that this is necessary)

Still, I love to see Freo getting a dose of their own medicine. They deserve it after all the off the book recruiting they’ve done of WA born players in recent years!

Change the title please to Operation Go get Jacko back!

They are powerless if he requests a trade and we give them a 1st rounder and take his contract.

Is that Jesse Hogan trying to get LJ over the line? That'd be nice.

Fritta Petty Chandler

Kozzy Hogan LJ

@george_on_the_outer gets his three tall forwards and we have some genuine goal scorers inside 50.

We can dream.

Lol poor Woey...why him?

cos you'll always gotta throw an 'extras' in - like how flagmantle supporters thought they were going to get koz for two first rounders + wafl-level player

(i.e. there's little doubt that the deal won't happen, or at least not for that 'value')

You left out Jamarra

another player that was never the same after moving to flagmantle

I went to a Premium Members function where Danners said that if Travis Johnstone had Longmuir’s application to training and preparation he would be the best player in the league. Danners was super [censored] off when Troy left.

What about a world where he says let me go for my mental health, or I will play like my nickname for the rest of my contract?

billy stretch was another player whose application of effort to the 'little things' was superb

i think that it's fair to say it requires more than just that to convert the desire and want to be an afl player to actually, well, actually making it as an afl player

Are Troy and Justin Longmuir brothers?

Announcement of Kozzys signing liked by Dogga’s missus on Instagram. Looks like a fait accompli to me.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
