Sylvia third man up in the foward 50 bounces?

did anyone else notice this a few times....

is he trying to improve his dream team stats ?

or a set play?

or does he just like to do it ?

opinions?

he has the best vertical leap at the club

so he may as well use it

While Dunn was in the side he was generally the 3rd man up in the forwardline... so with Dunn outta the side, it must be a set play ND has, and Sylvia is the man for it.

YM is right in saying he does have a huge vertical leap....

Best at club tho? I think Robbo might have something to say about that

he was definitley designated 3rd man all day.

Sylvia will catch out most defenders with his leap, and one day will bag 4 from the HFF position.

Relieving in the midfield occasionally, he has now arrived as an important player for the team structure - in a big game too.

Worth the wait.

Yze's vertical leap is massive too. bigger than sylvia's for sure.

No way

Sylvias is the biggest at the club

Not sure who has the biggest vertical leap at the club, but Sylvia would be up there.

It was a set play. Just watched the replay i taped on foxtel, and they had a close up of Davey talking to him before the ball up, and they exchanged a few words and hand signals, Sylvia gave a thumbs up and patted PJ on the back, Ball got balled up, Sylvia goes up and hits it over the back of the pack where Davey was running past already but fumbled and there was too much congestion. Set play definitely. Worked pretty well too IMO. If the opposition aren't paying attention, Davey gets a free shot on goal basically.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
