Looking like Ashcroft, Neale or Zorko for the Norm Smith. Hard to separate them actually. Ashcroft or Zorko for mine.

    I've never seen Grundy as a great player.

    He's a good ruckman with usually good tap work.

    His skills at ground level are above average.

    But as an intercept mark....terrible.

    A forward.....well...

    A defender, nothing outstanding.

    Swans have been grossly, woefully uncompetitive in 2 grand finals in 3 years. Whatever they’re doing in the lead-in week is just plainly the wrong thing. Otherwise, not sure how I’d feel if I was a Swans supporter.

    On the post mortem, it's going to be hard to pinpoint what the heck happened.

    Swans were fine for the first but just didn't front up in the second.

    It's not like they were flat from the get go.

    Where did it all fall apart?

    The question is: are Sydney a good team having a shocker in a granny AGAIN, with Horse being not much of a coach, or are they an average team who overperformed and are now getting found out? In the latter case, Horse is a very good coach.

    Something just so off kilter.

    As mentioned prior, I could understand if the lions had the jump from the get go.

    So is it over training in the previous few days?

    I thought the lions would be flat.

    But I was so wrong.

    Denis Pagan played for North Melbourne when it was the VFL. Edit - ooops, missed the tongue in cheek tone.

    No, pagan played 143 games for North and South Melbourne. That was a brain fade by BT referring to Fagan as Pagan…

      An exciting young key forward, Kentfield was selected in the 2024 mid-season draft but has yet to make his AFL debut. He was sidelined by a severe bout of pneumonia over the summer, which consequently limited his pre-season. Upon his return a month into the season, he commenced in defence but ultimately impressed with his progress at Casey, particularly in the latter part of the season as a strong marking goal kicking forward.

Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

      Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.
