He should thank his lucky stars that he has Curnow and McKay with him. The Blues forward line compliments Owies and this season, made him look much better than he is. In most other teams forward lines, he’s never coming close to kicking the amount of goals he kicked this year. 1 1 Quote
demoniac 1,337 Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 Owies problem is that he’s a 179cm one paced marking forward with no exposed midfield form. Doesn’t have the speed, defensive pressure or ground ball gathering ability of small forwards de jour. Means in an era when speed and spread is prioritised he is seen as a limited contributor. 1 Quote
Bowserpower 169 Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 Would be great, his defensive pressure is elite 3 Quote
spirit of norm smith 16,679 Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Sounds like he is off to West Coast. Part of the mega deal for the Blues to land pick 3 and try to grab Finn O’Sullivan. 2 Quote
No. 31 1,404 Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 Wishing Owies all the best out West, in many ways a limited footballer but he is an accurate kick for goal and I kind of like it when forwards kick goals 😊 1 Quote
