The last man who disagreed with me came off second best.

They’ll never find the body.

I trust we understand one another.

Yes Ma’am! Fully understood.

i hope Trac picks up his act. I know you are not happy with him.

I can see how and why Clarry has turned a corner now.

Yep, I gave Claz a little more time coz Claz. But he doesn’t realise how close he came to fertilising my garden 😅

I don’t have a pooch. But I can release my chooks onto the field. They could scratch the @rsehole’s eyes out then peck him to death. Simples.

My goats can be pretty lethal - they are not fussy. They will eat anything. The donkey gives a decent kick if he’s annoyed and my horse could stomp him. Your chickens and my chooks could gang up 🤣

Well I thought tonight was going to be lovely...

Big blob of rain about to appear and the forecast is now "Very high chance of showers, tending to rain at times later this evening. Damaging winds possible about the nearby hills later this evening."

I hope that's not a euphemism! 😄

That’s their specialty! I have them and a cricket bat and that’s all I need to remain safe in my own home.

Have you ever tickled one thru to the keeper down legside

My app says rain will stop by 6.
This is Melbourne, has any weather forecast ever been correct?

This surely has to be an omen. A large magpie just flew into my triple glazed window. Looks like he broke his neck and has now gone to God. Gave me a hell of a fright but he is no longer with us.

Is his name Maynard? A resemblance maybe?

A very morbid omen.

Well I’ve just picked him up with a shovel and he’s a pretty ugly looking dude.

Hang off a tree out front. Let the world know who he is….

It will bring you good luck too

Looking at the radar, it will all pass over by 6pm or so.

Ground will be wet but no rain during the first quarter and a half.

Then it will bucket down.

Hassa, what a star, my hero, No 29.
Was there when he kicked 7 , Queen’s Birthday 1967 MCG, was selected in the CENTRE lined up against Bobby Skilton.

I don’t know if he actually played in the centre that day, may have been HFF, but they generally lined up as selected back in the day. If so, must be the only time a centreman has kicked 7 in a match.

Looking at the AFL website you would barely know there’s a Melbourne - Collingwood game on tonight.

Yeah, I'm not buying into the "hope we lose" to get a better draft pick.

If there was an additional first round priority draft pick at stake, per the Richmond Jordan McMahon game in 2009, then you'd have to heavily consider the benefits of a loss.

But we're talking about sliding a couple of spots down the order of a deep first round.

(the main benefit of losing is actually getting into the 13-18 fixture group should GC win tomoz)

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, we’ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binman’s Stats Files. Not because it isn’t important; quite the opposite. It’s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
