Neil Crompton 5,852 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 I wish Daisy every success, but I'm so disappointed that we have not been able to bring her "home". 2 Quote

Timothy Reddan-A'Blew 5,690 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Note she sees the Eagles role as enabling her to 'continue [her] development as a coach'. So, perhaps back to us when that job's done?😉 2 1 Quote
BDA 23,048 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Didn't think she would take this role but good luck to her. I've no doubt that when the time comes to find a replacement for Mick Stinnear she'll be at the front of the queue and hot favourite to take over. 3 Quote
Lexinator 1,931 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Well done Daisy, all the best except against us, even then I won't be that upset 😊 Quote
FarNorthernD 5,863 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 At 35yo I honestly believe she could be the first female coach of an AFL team. I so hope that happens 4 Quote
poita 3,944 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Massive call on a personal / family level to move to WA, rather than taking up one of the available jobs in Victoria. Maybe she wasn't offered it, but I would have had Hawthorn as a far more attractive proposition for a first time coach than West Coast. Good luck to Daisy - she'll need it. Quote
dl4e 5,851 Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 It will be very interesting to see how she goes as head coach of a poor West Coast. Quote
DubDee 26,674 Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 Go Daisy! Earn your stripes and get experiences around the AFL world. Come back to the Dees in a few years and dominate. Quote
spirit of norm smith 16,679 Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 We love 💙❤️Daisy but seriously… give it a rest The move to Perth went smoothly and while Pearce missed her family and consistent coffee, there was no love lost for Melbourne’s fickle weather. “We’re an adventurous, outdoors family ... my kids can ride to school every single morning because there’s not sideways hail three months a year,” she laughed. 1 Quote
