Makes me sick to think of the monumental waste of money the AFL has paid to get KISS today when, for example, our AFLW players, if out injured or rehabbing etc. but wanting to go interstate to support their teammates, have to pay their own way there. I am turning off as soon as it looks like Collingwood has it won. I hope that never happens. I worry the umps will keep it close if the Lions are going well but let the Pies kick away if they can.

They’ve played in 20 of the last 80 grand finals but only won three of them. I think I’ll stick with Melbourne.

I can report the beach down on the Mornington Peninsula is superb. It’s pretty crowded so obviously there are a lot of people like myself who don’t give a rats about todays GF.

The Pies will come out of the blocks if Lions can stay with them in the 1st quarter they’ll win comfortably. 
 

If the Lions can’t match the intensity then it’ll be over by halftime.
