Surprised not to see a thread on this, but clearly AFL finals have taken precedence this week. Hopefully the AFLW side can have a big win against a pretty underwhelming GWS side to keep us comfortably inside the top 4.

A little background:

Melbourne's Manuka win-loss record: First game at Manuka
GWS's Manuka win-loss record: 2-4
Melbourne's win-loss record against GWS: 4-1 (Melbourne last played GWS in R6 2022A, a 37-point win)
GWS's 2023 formline: 0-1 (a 5-point loss to Sydney)

Will be interesting to see who comes in for Fitzsimon, in a classic 'mystery injury of the week' scenario!

Very impressive performance last time out after been challenged in the first half. Now that we've blown the cobwebs off i think you'll see a slicker Dees this weekend.

Looking forward to seeing Chaplin run out for the first time this year. Loved her attack on the footy last year.

AFLW is a nice diversion from the finals. Will help take my mind off last night's shemozzle.

I’m expecting another powerful win to stamp our authority on the competition.  Dees by 30+ points at chilly Manuka Oval (which has MCG dimensions).  
PS.  I need a decent win to overcome my ongoing ‘Thursday Night Blues’.
