You make good points 😁. Port or Brisbane winning would be somewhere in the middle.

Yeah I don’t have to deal with Port supporters at all and all the Brisbane supporters I know are just very good people so I don’t care if either wins to be honest.

Coll/Carl/ESS/Hawks are just no go zones for me.

if any of those teams are in a granny then it means I automatically support the opposition. Don’t even need to think about it.

Port are winning all stats trying really hard but can’t execute

doesn’t sound familiar at all 😩

At least we can defend to keep the score low enough to win on behinds. Port can’t.

This is the tale of finals every year!

It’s the reason why the phrase ‘questions about X game’ exists as teams weaknesses are exposed in finals.

Port will 100% lose to GWS next week. I can almost guarantee it. I don’t know what it is about them but they just aren’t built for finals and [censored] the bed.

Correct me if I'm wrong - there have been zero lead changes so far this finals series right (after the first quarter)?

There it is - the first lead change of meaning this finals series. What a goal from Rozee

Speaking of triggering, what the hell is this banner effort from Port?

@WalkingCivilWar you would never sign off on this!

Atrocious! Rookie error right there: when it’s on the floor and you’re looking at it close up the gap between the words and the coloured band seems sufficient. Not so much when viewed from afar. Plus, if you’re gonna use plastic for your backing, use the thick, better quality stuff so as it doesn’t look like an elephant’s backside.

Also, it’s finals… splurge on some graphics ffs. There’s no room in finals for such tight-arseness

Apart from Hipwood in the 1st quarter, the Lions are looking mediocre so far. Very little zip, with the occasional freak play for a lucky goal. Port looking very sharp and starting to kick straight.

Rozzee and Butters taking the [censored] with their kicking abilities. Beyond elite

I’m just offended by the pathetic wording.
Sounds like they went to chat GPT and typed in “write me a banner for the Port vs Brisbane game”

Port supporters are not exactly an intelligent breed Jaded, the busiest Centrelink is also in Port Adelaide.

Their handballs too.

The flag race really is right open. I reckon if you're GWS or even Carlton you definitely feel like you can steal a flag ala Bulldogs in 2016.

A Port win would suddenly open it right up again.

I'd argue they're 2 steps closer to the last game of the year if they win too, so it's also factually inaccurate as well as being an affront to crepe paper enthusiasts everywhere.

Demonland: the crepe paper specialists

Honestly I love Demonland, with its literary and graphic design critique of opposition banners.

Marshall would normally kick those two OOB and 1 behind. Port should be in front

remarkable choke from Marshall

  • AFLW REPORT: Western Bulldogs

We’re back! That was fun. The Mighty Dees’ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commanding 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
