Bowey takes the odd kick in and usually gets it right.

He does, but it's not a regular occurrence.

I would like to see the kick out duties split more evenly between Salem and Bowey, with May only kicking it out when we need to clear a lot of space.

And yet week after week the likes of BT tend to mention that our supporters don't show up.

That’s a narrative they create purely because they don’t like us.
We are on track for record average attendees (43210, 1100+ per game on our previous best, even in spite of playing Essendon in Adelaide) and home attendance (52367). We are 6th in the league for average attendance and 3rd for home attendance (although a few teams are a game behind). Our membership is closest to 9th in the league so in terms of our fans turning up we punch well above our weight, but according to the football media and some on here we “never rock up”. Never let the truth get in the way of a good beat up!

Can’t see why not, right? 😁

We’ve won four of the last five years.

We may not be as loud as some of the others but we certainly look the best. 🥇

The Crows. (That’s way better than Essendon or Collingwood winning it though, amirite!) Every year The AFL Fans Association calls for nominations and then votes on it.

If the Adelaide cheer squad have giant Walker ears I would support this win 😂

Johnson has been anti-Melbourne since we embarrassed the Dogs in the ‘21 GF.

Certainly am noticing a lot of Doggies supporters’ aggressive dislike for all things Melbourne nowadays… if only their players could’ve channeled that aggression at about the 20-min mark of the 3rd quarter of the 2021 Grand Final

I know it's tempting fate even to mention it, but if we do play them in the GF I hope some enterprising lad or lass (paging @WalkingCivilWar@) creates a giant "7-1" banner to unfurl once the game is iced. IYKYK.

I believe David King has just taken us back out of his top 4 seeds with this information.

+ Brad Johnson has been feverishly been making updates to his ‘rolling-All-Australian-illness-affected-team’

Just now, whatwhat say what said:

best look at our grand final records then

Oh I get it now. Would most definitely be something we’d do, only this time we wouldn’t go early like we did on Monday. Learned a lesson that day. Phew.

Hashtag Longest 26 seconds in living memory.

We all know they were sick and really had no excuses not to beat them. They looked tired - could be season / loading / illness.

Should have won by 6+ goals because that’s what it looked like.

Got the 4 points move on to next game. Get the 4 pts at the Cattery and remove any doubt on our contention, form and serious threat.

The only thing that annoys me is that we get within 7 pts at PA and we don’t get the credit coming off a ridiculous travel schedule, 6 day breaks and Oliver playing on one leg.

He was sighted alright.  The MRP saw it.  Thankfully, just a fine for Salo.

Also cited.  By the way, was this “incident” mentioned on TV broadcast?  Or did Christian go through the whole game in slomo determined to find something?

I don't watch or listen to too many broadcasts.

Gee, that type of action happens all the time. Ball was in the vicinity, a tackle looked possible, but the ball may come loose, and we had been pinned for continuing the tackle earlier in the game. Sharp hit and ready to collect the loose ball. Crucial period and Salem cannot give a free (no intention). Unlucky it got him on a soft spot, probably on the end of the sternum or a rib.

MFC players often cop those hits to our heads. Given the concussion litigation, isn't that one the one they need to get out of the game?

I’m watching the replay. When they kicked 3 goals Hamish Mclachlan had the nerve to yell ‘bang, bang, bang’. Yuck. Let’s not tarnish the greatest moment in sports history.

Also, is BT on the payroll at Collingwood? Did he realise 2 teams were playing?

I feel sorry for people who can’t get to the G.

Was also enraged by Hamish, who has made a living by being unoriginal and bland.

With 1:00 remaining in the 2nd quarter Jack Viney kicked a clear point, that was called out on the full and wasn’t reviewed. It was definitely a point, and Ryan in our cheer squad knew it because he went ballistic at the goal umpire.

It was a howler of an error.
