You're kidding right?  Sparrow has been fantastic since returning from his week suspension.  No way he misses.

Chandler, Spargo or Tomlinson are names off the top of my head that will miss before Sparrow does.

Spargo goes for mine. Never gives the first, easy option anymore. Always trying the cute / tricky one atm

And guess what happened the last time there was an earthquake in Vic? Before the recent one a couple of weeks ago.

We won the next 11 games and a flag. 🥳

Can’t see Sparrow getting dropped.  Most pressure acts vs Freo and second most vs Carlton. I reckon his suspension cost us 4 points against Port.

Agree

Would a cyclone or tornado help?

My DL writing on iPhone has gone small.

How do I get it back to what it was?

Forgot 'a'

The Tribunal referenced other incidents in the JDG case.

Yep change procedure again.

Joke of a system.

Not criticising Pickett, however he has had only 6 disposals in 2 of the last 3 games. Yeah, sure, he has the type of game that can cut you to ribbons, however it doesn’t happen that often. All I am saying is that if the finger is being pointed at Spargo, ANB and Chandler, then Pickett needs the heat on him as well.

Quite often brings the most heat inside 50 though bobby.  Would be in our top 2 or 3 here since 2021 and sometimes leading the way.

The coaches love this part about as much as the goals etc as they want dirrty rebounds / tumble punts out of 50.  Along with the repeat entries and likelihood of a few more turnovers in our foward half that doing so can bring.

Not sure anyone else would bring a similar level of defensive stuff inside 50 coming from Casey at the mo.

Swap it for a 'Decent' android and you will never have to ask about such things again!

I hope that Kozzie feels the heat so much that he explodes on Monday and pulls of a trifecta.
a) Gets the mark of the year.
b) Kicks goal of the year.
c) Head buts the winning point.
Too much? I’ll settle for  just (c).

Sorry to bear bad news everyone, but Clarry has an infected blister 😩

I had the same thing many years ago, a few weeks before I was about to run the London marathon. The GP said 'you can't run for a month now, there's major risks exercising with an infected blister'. I went to get a second opinion from Doc Reid, he said 'you're an [censored], of course you're running'

So the option to reference (from both sides) is at the behest of the AFL Red?

Even if the AFL decide this is so, are you saying the defence is then stymied and unable to invoke something like natural law (et al) in order to overide and reference other incidents as part of their case?

So they knew what the public reaction was going to be. And circumvented it.

So Hunter gets a week for standing still when an [censored] runs in to him with his head and no injury.JDG only gets 3 weeks for running and jumping into a kid wide open and concussed .I reallydont get it

Don't want Sparrow making way, he's proved his worth in the last couple of weeks.

Apparently so.

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
