Did we all enjoy Augie March playing during the pregame? Theyโ€™re arguably the most underrated Australian band ever. I guess they had to sing I was only 19 as itโ€™s fitting, but their original music is quite something else.ย

They sure are, I thought it was Redgum.

Iโ€™d say it was 2:1 Dees to Tigers. The Melbourne supporters came, and they really brought the noise. The booing at the umpiring early was only out done by the cheering in the last.

I thought we sounded great last night. Was a really proud night for the footy club and itโ€™s supporters.

Thanks that. That's a great effort and very surprising.ย  Couldn't tell by the noise on telly though except for the Roo cheer.

I reckon the bombers are a real show.ย

I suspect they will look to go even more high octane than the pies.

Dangerous because fast is in the pies' wheelhouse.ย

But they are coming off two very physical games, including having to travel to the gabba and play in humidity.ย

And their game last week against the saints was brutal.

Added to that they have some big outs, including their best two rucks - giving the bombers an edge for talls.

Something we can learn from Collingwood (and how it pains me to admit) is that we can embrace "ugly" footy. They move the ball forward at all cost, no matter if they kick, hand ball, slap the ball, dribble... Just relentless desire to gain territory.

I still have a soft spot for โ€˜Big Sexyโ€™ Weed. Him and Jayden Hunt are 2 players Iโ€™d like to see succeed.

Preferred our pregame to what they had today.

Our pregame is the story every year now. Weโ€™ve basically stolen the Anzac Day narrative in the media with a much better spectacle.

Yeah, the darkness and the fire make it extra poignant.

Hawks, Tigers, West Coast in the bottom 4

we ended Tigers season

feeling good today

Mute button already deployed.

BT and Brayshaw, a match made in hell

Go Weids !

Donโ€™t like both teams but canโ€™t stand Collingwood so hoping for a bag for Weids & an Essendon win.

Ugh, watching two teams you hate so you โ€œbarrackโ€ for the one who you hate less but you forget and you laugh when they mess up then you remember youโ€™re supposed to be barracking for them. Itโ€™s exhausting.ย

Impressive by the Bombers so far.

Collingwood struggling to move the ball quickly.

No way it was round the neck

They missed an earlier one over the shoulder so a bit of an evener upper

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmyโ€™s inclusive bannerโ€”"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
