So the start of the Geelong - Sydney matches has seen four free kicks to Geelong that weren't there in rapid succession. FFS

Looks like this could be a repeat of the granny.

As much as we hoped it wasn't,  deep down we all knew it would. Tough gig down there at the fortress. I'd rather play Interstate.

The McCartins are big loss for them in terms of their structure.  It will take time to adjust.

Yep...

Thecommentators just talked about Hawkins "signature move"

Two hands in the back at a throw in. FMD!

Then shepherding the ball drop and he got the free!!!!! Even took his eyes off the ball to look at ladhams.

If Gawn was allowed to infringe and get away with it like Hawkins he would easily be the GOAT (if he isn’t already 😉)

Can’t believe that free to Hawkins in the ruck contest. He was in front looked for contact by stepping in front of the Swans ruck and gets a free because they tangled arms or something! Then goals. The Swans are getting done over by Geelong and the Umps.

RTOI required in order to prop up sunk stadium funding...as ordered by the Comptroller of the Govt Treasury funding the third tranch of this tax payer funded stadium upgrade!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
