Wasted opportunity from us. We CANNOT give the swans a sniff. Wrong team. We have to respond straight away.

Here come the umps. Every time we play Sydney.

That was Clarrys direct oppo out of the middle with the clearance

Our rucks and Miss need to get bloody together this is a slaughter and embarrassing

We've learnt absolutely nothing from last week's stoppage smashing.

Some serious heat need to go on Yze and the mids if this doesn't improve throughout the game.

Heat of the moment. Umps are too sensitive.

Heat of the moment as an excuse is such a red flag.

Road rage?

Physical threats in a pub?

Any other situation in life?

None of it is acceptable, and it's not needed on a football field.

If professional rugby players can control themselves, but you think it is verbal and physical aggressive and arguing is an auto response that should be allowed, then that seems like a you problem.

opening your mouth or putting your arms up isn’t dissent. so it’s a wrong call. has to be intimidating or language showing dissent

95% of the time it’s not paid

Not true at all. Any behaviour (including language) that is insulting, intimidating, or abusive can be awarded a free kick.

Body language can fit in this, and the AFL made it clear it does.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
