Just posted in the trade thread, but thought this deserved a thread of its own.

The culture that Stinear and Daisy have built over the last eight years must be absolutely exceptional. Every single premiership player (minus Daisy obviously) and all our most significant players who missed out (including McNamara and Colvin) have just re-signed en masse.

Yes, great news.  Though I do notice the one absentee - Maggie Caris.

I can only assume she might be looking elsewhere in order to get some game time.  She's a very good young ruck with huge potential and would probably be starting in pretty much every other team.

I do hope we can still hang on to her, Loz Pearce won't go on forever!

Yeah, great news.  They really have created something special. Great that we can celebrate their premiership tonight.

Huge! Unparalleled! Exceptional!
The other teams can target each others players. The other teams can argue about the injustices of the system. We will stay loyal and get on with winning flags.
Love this group.

How. Cool. Is. THAT?!

The news, of course! But also the video! 🤗

Now THAT'S an epic re-signing announcement!

This is us reaping the rewards for investing early in women's footy and taking a long-term view from the get-go. Well-deserved, if I do say so myself.

Wonder if that video indicates that Kate Hore is the next captain?

It's a lock at this point, I reckon.

So, the current list has 3 spots left (with Johnson presumably on the inactive list) and Caris un-signed.

❤️💙

Said something that didn’t make sense. On a replacement bus from hell. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.

I love this ♥️♥️💙💙

Super Impressive.  Loyalty in the woman’s  game still means something… or at least it does fr the dees!

Truly amazing effort by all involved with the club and the players themselves. Clearly this is an incredible group to be a part of and they can sense more premierships in the very near future.

PS. The lap of honour last night was pretty disappointing. Surely they could have named the players and put some GF footage on the big screen.

Wasn't it! I hope the players got more out of it than we (and the club - good thoughts, @poita) appeared to be giving them! At least there seemed to be some nice personal interactions when they got round to the DA area where I was.

Now, where is that journo from the West Australian who was so adamant Paxy would be seeking a trade to Freo?

And did you hear Paxy call out the Demon Army on Saturday night for not having a giant face of her? Paging @WalkingCivilWar

That's actually more on the club, they had those faces made, not us.

That story ran so hard I was slightly surprised to see her at the MCG on saturday night!

We've lost Daisy but geez I hope we've got Mick stitched up tight.
I've mentioned it before, I think we should have him heavily involved in the men's program as well.

It really is an incredible result. The grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side unless you're at the MFC!
Well done to everyone involved. Demon Spirit!

I hope Mick and Daisy would write a book about it one day. It's been a pretty rocky road to the top for this team.

It actually is on us, Kat. Ryan (our illustrious leader) decides which players are giant head-worthy, that is, players who’ve been with us for a while, since they’re very expensive to produce. Of course, as with everything we do, it has to be approved by the Club.

We do have a giant Paxy head, it just wasn’t brought to the ground on Saturday night. Nothing personal it’s just that not every giant head can be there at once since they’re hard to transport. Unless of course someone is crazy enough to carry one on two trains and a packed replacement bus. But who’d be that stoopid, right. 🙃

@Katrina Dee Fan

I’ve already put in a request for a giant Brodie head. Hoping like hell that can happen for our QB match. 😁

If Giant heads were so hard to get into the fooly, how do so many collingwood supporters keep turning up? 😉

Haha I completely forgot about that one!

Other clubs will be packin their dax. What great culture. Now get me some cool merchandise i can buy for daughter and neices

Can't remember if I said this in the men's gameday thread, but was pleasantly surprised to see Goldrick still in town. Must be having an extended celebratory holiday? Assuming she didn't fly back from Ireland for the lap of honour 😆

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
