West Coast still have some very good players on paper, and  I know it’s very early on but they look exactly like last year and don’t give a [censored] about their performances.

The tank is on for Harley Reid already.

Makes you wonder how they're managing their salary cap. The stars of the Eagles must be coming towards the end of their mega contracts

I follow Norf with my Mate, who's mad Norf. So know a bit about them. As I have previously remarked, they are no where near a bad as some pundits think. There's eight players that get a game at Melbourne. West Choke, EssenDrugs, Horethorn, St. Kilda would be lucky to have eight between them.

You’d be fuming being a West Coast supporter. One thing to be awful. Another to just not care.

Tipped Weagles over North, in honour of my friend who just moved to Perth and matched with one of the players on a dating app lol

Well, this aged well 🤣  hopefully my friend's dating life is more successful than my tipping!

Just wondering why Luke Jackson didn't want to go to W/C. Must be a reason.

Hunt says.....hold my beer!

Obviously Gill’s Work Experience kid made the decision on the umpire’s clash strip. Norf seem to have 4 extra players in blue tops, just without the white stripes. Small point, maybe. But in the split second world of AFL, this peripheral vision issue could really be significant. Still haunted by Clint Bartram’s brilliant offload to a maggot all those years ago.

why do they keep doing it?

it's not as if they don't have alternate strips.

it's not that fn hard....amateur stuff

North have lost their composure. aimless bombing into F50 and over handballing.

North got themselves to the infamous danger zone ... 26 points up... and didn't go on.

We all know how this ends

seems they're not going to follow the MFC of 2022

I can pick up any of 6 Melb stations live on Match Centre here in Bangkok.

Youre right though their 'live' clocks are useless for some games.

I wish the commentators would shut up and stop reading commercials after goals and throw ins. FFS

Quite enjoyable this match. Hunt with a barrel after the siren to win it for the Eagles.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
