just as I'm reading this he takes a contested mark and goals.

Yeah now just gets 2 gimmees in 5 minutes sheesch😮🤯

I hate the cats so much. Such a team full of cocky aholes.

You know those nightmare films where the protagonist is awful because of some curse and everyone is trying to kill them and then they take off some totem and all is good again?

That is how I feel about Cam Guthrie’s hair. I was all ready to resume my hate of the bloke and I just can’t get it up.

Shame.

The grass looks shocking. Let’s hope we don’t see a Melbourne player do a knee tomorrow

It is a real worry. De Koning went down just slowly walking backwards with no one near him.

The surface is very shifty in places and be Sue Chris Scott will tell us all about in his presser. Concerts and sport are not good bedfellows.

Why do they insist on calling it an underground handball?

Sounds like some kind of deep thought process from BT

He’s not playing anywhere near as much inside footy as he did earlier in his career, so he still has a couple years left in him yet

Was just thinking that.

He looks as fit and strong as he has in years.

And he still has sublime skills, and gets value with almost all his possessions.

So much time.

I know it’s entertaining to watch, but would it kill either of these teams to play defence or switch tempo?

Allowing a team to kick almost 75 points to half time doesn’t seem sustainable.

Exactly. A team that has solid structures with players that know and stick to their roles will shut this down.

Howe’s in so much pain. Despite what we might think of him, that’s terrible to see.

Arm was at right angle. Hate the bloke but would not wish that on anyone.

Agreed that was a serious collision.. Will be out for a while.

Agree with BT I don’t think the carnage is surface. Both teams going out really hard for the dub - probably too hard for this time of year.

Absolutely. Anyone screaming in pain on the ground is shocking. It’s a game and someone just suffered a horrific injury. You just don’t wish that on anyone.

Pies to win this with a goal in the dying seconds . Again.

True, sorry, I just cant stand him.

Neither can I. But I know for a fact that he’s a really lovely guy off the field. A family friend who is a mad Geelong fan got the Geelong players to visit his 5 year son in hospital when he was battling cancer. Hawkins has since personally reached out to him multiple times to check on the kid.
He might be an [censored] on the field, but these guys are still human beings and most of them are completely different off the field.
