It might be YOUR last comment on this. It’s not mine. I can tell you with full confidence that one of the reasons the Club is keeping Fritta’s injury details quiet is to prevent opposition players from targeting him. As I mentioned before, Clarrie told me HIMSELF that this happens. I’m inclined to believe Clarrie. Aren’t you?

Pretty sure all clubs try to keep injuries under wrap especially those that can be easily targetted in future games.

Lots of porkies are told by clubs but realistically there are no secrets in AFL.  News gets out one way or another if not to the media certainly to other clubs.  Everyone knows about Fritta's foot injury - it was mentioned in training reports and I'm sure lazy media read them.

Good players get physically targetted even if not injured.

Anyone else notice Petracca was slightly limping when he walked off at half time - favouring his left leg😟

anb really good through the middle

Finally picked up a holding here to ANB.  Wish they'd look at the Clarry match up a bit more.  Getting held off the ball quite a bit ... no frees

That’s his gait. By now it’s like saying Neitz used to wobble as he walked

The porta-loos down there would be like getting into a sauna on a day like this.

Biggest takeaway for me so far

Chocco being goal kicking coach this year has to be a good thing doesnt it? Hes so enthusiastic about everything he does

That would have been some goal if Clarry could have finished. He's looking sharp.

Rivers great endeavour in general but a bit scatter gun with his kicking at times.  Bit of work to do there.

Sparrow's made about three rookie errors this quarter.  That last one on the mark costing us a goal.

Clarry out of the middle there taking on everyone ahead of him lol.  Nearly came off

11 min to go in the third.

Tigers kick three in a row in about 4 mins

Tiger smalls coming into the game a little more and theyve upped the effort side

Demons 11.8. 74

Tigers 7.7 43

We’ve dropped intensity here with some silly decision making and half hearted contest. Would be nice to put it away with the breeze then slow tempo in the last

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
