they only showed 8 out of 11 votes in summary. brayshaw (ffc) got 2 and i can't remember the other one

I reckon pies are no certainty to even make the 8. How would of they gone this year with our 2022 fixture?  11- 11

Their army of supporters helps them over the finish line  but  they wont have the same staggering luck in 23. Theyll be taken more seriously too.

Premiers?   lions dees cats blues maybe swans. Injuries will come into it as usual.

I think Carlton will fill the Collingwood slot for 2023, they are due and if they start well the nomentum will carry them through.

Too many good players to stay down

Geelong put everything into 2022. Selwood gone and Hawkins another year older

expecting them to be around 6th next year, especially with their tough draw

I think Geelong will come off it a bit with the tougher draw, Collingwood will get a reality check that their do or die brand is just not sustainable and Sydney will struggle with expectation.

Brisbane are the ones for mine that present the most upside but it will depend on how their forward line functions now without McStay - Daniher a year older. Not sure Hipwood is a focal point. Feels a bit like MFC 2022ish.

Also cannot count out the Doggies, they have one of the best lists in the AFL with superstars all over the forward half of the ground.

Injuries will come into the reckoning for our '23 season. That is what excites me about our accumulating depth, our mix of youth with some experience and varied talents, and our stable of hard-liners with credentials scattered across the field. We've got this one!

Yep, they are the ones. Depends a lot on how Bevo measures up in 2023...

The list is more balanced across the ground if they chose it to be that way.

That first game is going to be a good one.

Too many people think Collingwood will go further this year.

False teeth ferals won a million games by a few pionts last year, VERY LUCKY. They wont have the same fortune this year.I expect them to finish lower than shark sheeit at the bottom of the Caymen trench this year.😡

  • GAMEDAY: Brisbane

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
