what is the definition of priority 1, 2 and 3 memberships?

Context?

If context is GF tickets, 1 = those with a GFG plus others; 2 = long term members (could be 20 or 25 years) plus others, 3 = Other membership types eg 3yr, GA etc.

Yes Yes Yes GIFs | Tenor

You'd think our results and performances over the first 5 weeks would be crucial for realising our aspirtions to reach 75k members.  5-0 or 4-1 would go along way towards it, as would a much more attacking brand and hopefully some big margins.

Would be great to only drop one at most out of Bulldogs, Lions, and Swans, then hammer the Eagles and Dons leading into the Anzac Day Eve game agaisnt the Tigers would have even the most pessmistic MFC supporter up and about and hopefully eager to get aboard financially.

The most likely one is the Brisbane game, we play them at the Gabba.

Last time we played them there we were up 11 goals at half time.

I'll be heading to the Gabba for the very first time, so would love the score line to be the same.

I doubt it though but I'll take any win!

My scarf, card and stickers turned up today.

I like that the card has my seat printed on it. It’ll make me extra smug when I point it out to some ring in whose sitting in my seat.

This is going to sound dumb but I stopped going coz I think I am a curse on the team, as soon as I stopped in 2019 we started to rise.

Any supporter older than 45 can regard themselves as the kiss of death.

Worked out with 1987 and a 10 y.o. age of criminal responsibility.

Apparently so has the membership Dept DC.

Excluding today, as it was obviously going to be a huge 24 hours given it's Melbourne M'ship day,  the demand to join in general plus other general inquiries/ admin requests on the m'ship side is said to be off the charts at the moment.

While this is obviously a great situation to be in, i'm also lead to believe the club has allegedly underestimated the situation and is (or was at one point) majorly under-staffed.  A number of ring-ins (parden the pun) have been recruited from within and without apparently in order to assist & play catch up.

they have been advertising on the radio 6 games for a standard 3 game membership (for a limited time)

that's a good deal and no doubt getting lots of interest

Swans for me. They have the wood over us.

There's a schedule of radio appearances on this page - very interested to hear what Charlie Spargo has to say, can't imagine him getting too excited about anything 😂

@Dr. Gonzo do you see Charlie Spargo as our version of Kimi Raikonnen?

Kimi, deadpan delivery. A great ambassador for Finland as referenced by some of his famous quotes.

Love Kimi’s work. A true individual and a superb driver

Our last 4 crowds at the MCG were:

Round 21  vs Pies        70,000  home

Round  22 vs Blues      55,000  home

Qualifying Final  vs Swans  72,000 or 78, 000 not sure.

Semi Final vs Lions       62,000

Hardly a drop off. !!! Yes if we played Pies Cats or Tigers would have been sellouts I suppose.

I don't think it's fair to include finals crowds in the attendance discussion.

The round 21 crowd against the pies was made up of 50,000 of them, was the most disappointing Melbourne turnout of the year.

But they will be scarred from last year GF. And they typically start slow.

He is very passionate about NBA, you'll see him tweeting most days about his beloved Lakers.

Kimi is a legend and very much missed in the F1 paddock. He at least has a personality.

I’m confused. This figure was reached at 3:34pm today according to a DA member in the know.

Maybe you have E.S.P.,Daise.

  • REPORT: Brisbane

“Max Gawn has been the heart and soul of the Dees for years now, but this recent recovery from a terrible start has been driven by him. He was everywhere again, and with the game in the balance, he took several key marks to keep the ball in the Dees forward half.” - The Monday Knee Jerk Reaction: Round Ten Of course, it wasn’t the efforts of one man that caused this monumental upset, but rather the work of the coach and his assistants and the other 22 players who took the ground, notably the likes of Jake Melksham, Christian Petracca, Clayton Oliver and Kozzie Pickett but Max has been magnificent in taking ownership of his team and its welfare under the fire of a calamitous 0-5 start to the season. On Sunday, he provided the leadership that was needed to face up to the reigning premier and top of the ladder Brisbane Lions on their home turf and to prevail after a slow start, during which the hosts led by as much as 24 points in the second quarter. Titus O’Reily is normally comedic in his descriptions of the football but this time, he was being deadly serious. The Demons have come from a long way back and, although they still sit in the bottom third of the AFL pack, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel as they look to drive home the momentum inspired in the past four or five weeks by Max the Magnificent who was under such great pressure in those dark, early days of the season.

  • CASEY: Southport

The Southport Sharks came to Casey. They saw and they conquered a team with 16 AFL-listed players who, for the most part, wasted their time on the ground and failed to earn their keep. For the first half, the Sharks were kept in the game by the Demons’ poor use of the football, it’s disposal getting worse the closer the team got to its own goal and moreover, it got worse as the game progressed. Make no mistake, Casey was far and away the better team in the first half, it was winning the ruck duels through Tom Campbell’s solid performance but it was the scoreboard that told the story.

Just a game and percentage outside the Top 8, the Demons return to Melbourne to face the Sydney Swans at the MCG, with a golden opportunity to build on the momentum from toppling the reigning premiers on their own turf. Who comes in, and who makes way?
