Hey Kev, perhaps you should delete  old pics you’ve posted and that are no longer needed. You just go to your account, click on ‘my attachments’ and select the pics you don’t need, and delete.

Thanks WCW, cleared the 6 attachments, and I now have 4.88 MB.

Wohoo

I have more really good shots, but the site won't let me upload any more because it would exceed the "max total size of 302.47 kb". Is there any way to get around this?

Thanks WCW, this worked for me. Now I have 4.88 MB.

Demon Army did a fine job on the snags from the looks of it, very popular from what I saw!

Hopefully, your selfless sacrifice will be rewarded with a victory tomorrow night.

My ‘selfless sacrifice’ has already been rewarded, HT. For health and safety reasons we can’t use the unsold (and uncooked) food. Long story short… I’m on my way home right now with five loaves of bread and 72 sausages! Imagine how happy my son will be when he realises it’s sausages for dinner every night for the next month or so. 😁

I hope so! Sausages don’t talk back to you. And sausages don’t have a messy bedroom. Nor do they stay up really late on school nights then bit*ch and moan the next morning having to get up early. Need I go on?!

No but I can’t imagine it’d be any harder than living with a moody teenage boy.

Apparently Viney was exposed to the same gastro bacteria as Goody and Hibbo

Now the bacteria have a bad case of the Vineys that they can't shake

The boys all moved well despite knee bandages on Gus, Kozzie and Trent.

No knee bandages on BBB, Max or Salo, which is really good news.

Here's a few pics from the session.

Ahh...all is right with the world. We're still training (and playing) in September, crowds have turned up for our training session, and if I look closely at the fifth of these photos, I think I see Satyr wearing a jaunty, white beret to match his beard.

Back to actual training talk.

Viney was tutoring Sparrow at the end of training on the art of dodging your opponent at stoppage by starting behind your opponent and then grabbing them and shoving them behind you as you go forward. He was then tutoring him on grabbing the ball with your arms up so you can still handball it off in a tackle.

Viney may be our next HC, Max Hawn for president

I was there too .... easily identifiable because I was wearing a yellow (high viz) cycling jacket. (I incorporated the visit to Gosch's Paddock as part of my morning ride.)

Caught up with the lovely WCW and snagged myself a snag. Good set up there although it was sans coffee when I got there (about 10.15 am).

Nice atmosphere ... Training session seemed pretty relaxed/low key.

Would be nice to meet some D/Landers there next week ...

Good to see the seconds on the paddock, about 3/4 of the way during the first squads run.

Given that they have the bye, my guess is that they will be around the team all today and tomorrow, offering support, learning about the lead up to finals, and being, generally involved.

https://imgur.com/gallery/UxqPr9o for my training session pics. My favourite is Jack with the only fan who made it into the middle of the oval.

They're really great photos, thank you for sharing.

  • PREVIEW: Hawthorn

Hawthorn and Melbourne. Two teams with impressive form from last week but with seasons that are travelling on different trajectories meet in Saturday’s twilight game for what could well be the most intriguing contest of the AFL’s penultimate round. Sadly, the game has been relegated to that unappealing time slot in the weekend when Melburnians are typically preoccupied with activities other than football. It falls between the morning's shopping, afternoon sport and recreation, and Saturday night fever. A time usually reserved for relatively insignificant events but this one is not a nothingburger for either of the clubs or their fans.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
