Yikes. Ok so we're not going to win but I'd like us to at least show some ticker here otherwise we're sending a message to the rest of the comp that we can be beaten. Which I know we are. Everyone is. But this is not a premier's loss.

We have no idea how to go forward, which is bemusing given the second quarter we were doing really well.

Haha I gotta live in a better place than we're in right now! Just hope we make this looks little more respectable.

no room for sentimentality......poor selection......four touches.

Wouldnt have made a big difference but like for like (for Lingers) it should've been Baker

Dwayne Russell is a [censored]. We’ve won 17 straight, 4 of our key players out, it’s the middle of the season & according to him this win may change the landscape of the season. 🤦‍♂️

Don’t like how we’ve turned our toes up this half. We have lacked a hunger and desperation for a while now.

What’s more, it didn’t cost us the game, but [censored] our goal kicking has been pathetic for the whole year. Forwards coach needs a rocket along with the worst of them

Didn't say you were, What is the relevance of the jumper got to do with the way we are playing?

never seen Tracca have ten touches.

Never seen him not chase. Well I have now.

Forward line needs a full revamp.

Ball just bounces right back out when Weideman and Brown are playing.

Lots to work on, hopefully it’s a wake up call and not a sign of things to come because second half of the season gets much tougher.

1-6 to 11-3 this half. That's the difference

That goes back 10 years

I'm not too filthy. This reminds me a lot of the game against the Giants last year (albeit they have beaten us much more badly).
We've clearly got underdone, gassed and injured players. We had two soft lead in games. The Dockers have been amazingly switched on.
We learn what we can, regroup and come out firing next week.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
