Don’t get why people hate the kid. His hair?

he goes hard and is a great mark and kick. Tries to get in defenders faces which is his job

Would love to have him at the demons

Umpiring of Bulldogs games is atrociously biased. It’s actually extremely off-putting and offensive.

Someone needs to risk a heavy fine and call out the umpires and AFL. You want supporters to respect this drivel put up on a weekly basis? Good luck with that.

All this talk about free kicks.
None about their woeful kicking for goal.
Should be slaughtering the Swans.

The free kick issue is something the dogs have been specialising fr some years. There just HAS to be a key to understanding it.. and undoing it. It’s genuinely taking away my enjoyment in watching the game.

Watch his terrible acting once out of contest for a free. His first goal was a great example arching his body and throwing his arm back to get a free.

If he wasn’t an acting, cheating little grub I might respect him, but I don’t!

I have never really whinged about the umps and the dogs but what I saw that quarter was ridiculous. There is a severe problem.

That’s why I’m hoping the bulldogs lose tonight. I don’t want to meet them in the finals because they play with 19 out there. Momentum is everything in finals and we can’t afford to have it constantly taken away due to bias umpiring towards our opposition. I’ve never seen anything like the consistently favorable calls the bulldogs get week in week out.

To be fair, Spargo does this a lot too - but he plays for us ;)

I have got a bit frustrated with Charlie recently, it has snuck into his game and I hope like hell that the club get that out of his game

Absolutely - it also generally takes a player of the contest which is my frustration. Spargo seemingly isn't constantly favoured by the umpires either (i.e Weightman).

If every-one else has a ducking head thrower I don't see why we can't benefit from having one 🙈

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
