Have we beaten anyone yet?

I'm not crying, we're all crying.

This is for Neale, Jim, Robbie, Jonesy, Dean, Ron 😍

We have waited so long. And finally. After 57 long years. We have broken through. We have pushed away from our ageing legacy and now face the future as Goliaths. We are going to be scary good next year.

HEART. BEATS. TRUE.

❤️

Since 59-40, we kicked 100 points to 7

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a way to burn down the curse.

🔥

THE DROUGHT IS OVER

If that’s not taking the pizz, I don’t know what is. From 19 down ten mins into 3rd to a 74 point in a GF.

When the game seemed against us i thought Jackson, Fritsch and Gus were huge in the third.
Trac = Freak.

Unbelievable! Enjoy it peeps!

And again, thank you to all our WA supporters who made it possible for the boys to have a huge reception.

It must seem like a miracle to be at a grand final, let alone host one, let alone have the DEMONS in it and winning it!

You've done us all proud. Thank you!!

Wooohooo!

One for the true believers!!

All hail CP5!!

Thank you boys, for giving us this gift in a pretty rubbish year. What a ride.

0 years since our last premiership.

🎉

Its not just we won.

We were three to four goals down and looked dead on the table.

But to come back from that and have our biggest margin ever was geaven sent.

Soak it my goid friends.

Love it.

Enjoy it.

Gloat about it .

Best win ever.

We Won! WoohooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOoooo!
sorry, all intelligent thought has now gone out the window.
what a win!

And obviously no question, Trac for the Norm Smith, which is, fittingly, our prize to win. In a year we finally set fire to the curse.

Words cannot describe how amazing this feeling is. We are easily fielding our best team in decades.

Petracca is an absolute superstar. He's been incredible the entire finals series. Langdon and Brayshaw are surely the best wing duo we've had in a long time. Fritsch has become a genuine star forward.

We're just a great team.

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?

  • FEATURE: 1925

A hundred years ago today, on 2 May 1925, Melbourne kicked off the new season with a 47 point victory over St Kilda to take top place on the VFL ladder after the opening round of the new season.  Top place was a relatively unknown position for the team then known as the “Fuchsias.” They had finished last in 1923 and rose by only one place in the following year although the final home and away round heralded a promise of things to come when they surprised the eventual premiers Essendon. That victory set the stage for more improvement and it came rapidly. In this series, I will tell the story of how the 1925 season unfolded for the Melbourne Football Club and how it made the VFL finals for the first time in a decade on the way to the ultimate triumph a year later.
