Just imagine how cold it would be standing there. I imagine the players would be itching for a run or some game play just to warm up.

I still remember that game in the 1970s when the fog was so thick that players couldn't see what was going on at the other end of the ground. Someone here will remember it, but I think it was a Carlton v Fitzroy game.

It was round 21,1971. I recall it because I got 6 right for the third week in a row in a Football tipping competition at work. With 5 rounds to go I was 6 points behind. I got 6 right in the last round and won by 1 Point.

Fitzroy And Carlyon at Junction Oval.

Dees also won a game at the G With  very heavy fog Not  sure Who we played may have been Fitzroy. I think It was very low scoring!!

haha yeah i remember that was listening on the radio  pretty sure it was at junction oval  commentators were stuffed

must say..the faux training reports are in keeping with season.

Never thought I'd miss the training the house down versions from our usual followers.

    TRAINING: Monday 18th November 2024

    Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week. WAYNE RUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS No Ollie, Chin, Riv today, but Rick & Spargs turned up and McDonald was there in casual attire. Seston, and Howes did a lot of boundary running, and Tom Campbell continued his work with individual trainer in non-MFC
