I love when people just assume everyone has a membership and can easily afford one.

To a lot of people 100 or 200 bucks is a lot of dough and as Dazzle has pointed out there are of course always more pressing concerns than a footy membership.

We might be the club of 'cheese platters and skiing',  but not all our supporters are Toorak and Brighton fat cats, in fact the vast majority are not obviously.

Anyways, I did get a membership and the club can keep the money as I  don't really go to games anyway, just get one to help keep the club afloat

Go Dees.

So just back it off..

The MFC will go on, it’s a very small cog in this big world. This world is going through something right now that could change everything. I am not suprised because i have thought the Human Population is getting too high

But we have no idea what will happen to things we consider as standard

It may be years until Large public gatherings are safe...

It's an over reaction. They should quarantine people when they have the flu kills more people. Banning Dazzle is an under reaction even though he has problems and don't think for a minute Melbourne are safe. Melbourne are struggling and the conora virus threatens a lot of clubs existance. Don't think for a second Melbourne can't become extinct, merge with Gold Coast or GWS or even relocate to Tasmania. The AFL doesn't give a stuff about us face it.

I suggest you go back and re-read Dazzle’s response to you where he outlined certain issues he is dealing with closer to both home and his heart. You are starting to look embarrassingly silly.

I have ALWAYS rated Dazzle as an astute football mind and Guru, heart on sleeve MFC person

As an aside, I received a membership and prompt in the mail

RF sitting on my shoulder urged me to buy.

Nothing else needs to be said!

We all struggle in life and this is another test

Pass well Demonlanders

You the world's biggest dill. Well if the club is bankrupt you only have yourself to blame. But what do you care your not a real supporter anyway. An 11 game membership won't break the bank for anyone but you keep on thinking your doing the right thing. Your not a supporter you only come here to start fights. The sooner your banned the better.

You i diot

This comment just proves how you simply you cannot grasp the reality or understanding of how this world functions.

You're sad individual Werride. Life was great when you had me on ignore. Keep it that way.

you can tell by the teams he picks that he does not read reality well. We are all lucky he is not on the match committee, we would have not won a game for years.

So he is allowed to bag me but I'm not allowed to respond because his brother has cancer? He's always made it about him. His response to Saty's training reports says it all he starts fights all the time. He knows [censored] about football and is a genuine [censored], that never changes with him. Why people stick up for this germ has got me stuffed and more importantly he's not a supporter.

I just hope when the club calls to refund our membership everyone says keep it because they need it the corona virus could bankrtupt this club. Dazzle is a disgrace I would expect this from him he shouldn't be on this forum.

You are showing ZERO class in this thread matey.

If your mother saw your posts she would probably put you across her knee.

DD said nothing in this thread to deserve your childish carry on, and to ignore the guts of his reason for not caring too much about footy right now is staggering.

Give it a rest.

Merely responding to a video that was posted to me

But keep on having a go, i know it is an automatic reaction from you

Good luck selling memberships, many are talking about getting refunds for not being able to go to games. The clubs have to slash 5 MILLION from there spending wow huge amount, who's to get cut Burges, about 25% of the paid staff to be cut, or all take big pay cuts. Rookies cut from list maybe.

what people spend their own money on is COMPLETELY their OWN business

and NO [censored] business of ANYONE ELSE on this board

full stop

p.s. all the best for your mate dazzle and sorry you were forced to explain

  • PREVIEW: Sydney

The two teams competing at the MCG on Sunday afternoon have each traversed a long and arduous path since their previous encounter on a sweltering March evening in Sydney a season and a half ago. Both experienced periods of success at various times last year. The Demons ran out of steam in midseason while the Swans went on to narrowly miss the ultimate prize in the sport. Now, they find themselves outside of finals contention as the season approaches the halfway mark. The winner this week will remain in contact with the leading pack, while the loser may well find itself on a precipice, staring into the abyss. The current season has presented numerous challenges for most clubs, particularly those positioned in the middle tier. The Essendon experience in suffering a significant 91-point loss to the Bulldogs, just one week after defeating the Swans, may not be typical, but it illustrates the unpredictability of outcomes under the league’s present set up.

  • REPORT: Brisbane

“Max Gawn has been the heart and soul of the Dees for years now, but this recent recovery from a terrible start has been driven by him. He was everywhere again, and with the game in the balance, he took several key marks to keep the ball in the Dees forward half.” - The Monday Knee Jerk Reaction: Round Ten Of course, it wasn’t the efforts of one man that caused this monumental upset, but rather the work of the coach and his assistants and the other 22 players who took the ground, notably the likes of Jake Melksham, Christian Petracca, Clayton Oliver and Kozzie Pickett but Max has been magnificent in taking ownership of his team and its welfare under the fire of a calamitous 0-5 start to the season. On Sunday, he provided the leadership that was needed to face up to the reigning premier and top of the ladder Brisbane Lions on their home turf and to prevail after a slow start, during which the hosts led by as much as 24 points in the second quarter. Titus O’Reily is normally comedic in his descriptions of the football but this time, he was being deadly serious. The Demons have come from a long way back and, although they still sit in the bottom third of the AFL pack, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel as they look to drive home the momentum inspired in the past four or five weeks by Max the Magnificent who was under such great pressure in those dark, early days of the season.

  • CASEY: Southport

The Southport Sharks came to Casey. They saw and they conquered a team with 16 AFL-listed players who, for the most part, wasted their time on the ground and failed to earn their keep. For the first half, the Sharks were kept in the game by the Demons’ poor use of the football, it’s disposal getting worse the closer the team got to its own goal and moreover, it got worse as the game progressed. Make no mistake, Casey was far and away the better team in the first half, it was winning the ruck duels through Tom Campbell’s solid performance but it was the scoreboard that told the story.

  • PREGAME: Sydney

Just a game and percentage outside the Top 8, the Demons return to Melbourne to face the Sydney Swans at the MCG, with a golden opportunity to build on the momentum from toppling the reigning premiers on their own turf. Who comes in, and who makes way?
