Jordan Lewis Selling Hope

Featured Replies

The best way he can sell hope is to tell us that May missed training because he had to exchange the shirt he got for Christmas

Lewis is now in the role he should have been in last year.

This is why Lewis was bought in. So i hope he is speaking his mind (he has no reason not to) he is not the type to speak “puff” news

2020 is all about the mindset, if the list is fit and available.

Interesting point. You may well be right, but with injuries the way they were, i am glad he stuck it out.

i think he will a great coach, why? Because he never shirked a tough game in his prime. He mostly instigated the toughness.
Jordan was always proactive

We need more of that to win the serious games

We knew the third year was a gift when we got him for peanuts. As it turned out it was great as we lacked fit bodies and leadership.

Yes i said it at the time. The third year was the bonus.
It has given us a Premiership Player who wants to Coach his knowledge

This may well be his greatest asset for us

Fully agreed, and I still believe that he could be a great coach for the Dees, in tandem ( a double-sided sword) with Yze. What a footballing combination of talent, experience, mentoring and know-how.

Jeez, for a moment there I thought the thread title read "Jordan Lewis Selling Dope".  Carry on.

About as convincing as the leadership he sold us for 3 years.

If he was really invested in us, would he not be buying hope as opposed to selling it?

Tongue in Cheek

The only parallel i see between Hawthorn's 2009 and Melbourne's 2019 was that both sides missed the finals after making it the year before, and had off season surgeries.

Hawthorn were in the hunt for finals all year in 2009 but lost to Essendon in the last round to just miss. Our season was over by round 3.

So you see more parallels than to the contrary then. Thats good news I guess.

Exactly the same but different

My dog has a lump on his balls usually in odd years. Then he chews on his sack and it disappears for about 12 months then re-appears about 12 months later (in an odd year).

I've noticed the MFC is following a fairly similar trajectory if you take into account 1964,1988,2000 and 2016.

I think the club should employ my dog as an advisor.
