Draw just announced

Looks Like we play the Crows and then Hawks

Good way to start a new season with some tough Games.

We play the Crows at Casey Fields on the 22nd of Feb. (4:40pm)

We then play the Hawks in Launceston on the 6th of March. (7:40pm)

Who we play doesn't bother me, I'd just like to see us get through these games without an injuries and some semblance of form.

Crows 2020 does not equal tough game surely.

Frosty's mob?  That's another matter entirely.

At least it’s not like last year where we had stuff all time between both games

Yeah good point.

last year they bunched all the JLT games into just 2 weeks and they stupidly gave us a 6 day break coming off a 40 degree day in Shepparton.

Nice to have a 2 week break between games.

We should be able to win both these games.

That Casey game on Feb 22 could easily be another 40 degree job..

We should be able to go 25-0 next year.

October fever Wiseblood?

Seriously Crows and Hawks are now average middle of the comp teams.

Certainly could be.

Or it could be 19 degrees per 2017 vs Carlton at Casey.

You just never know with Melb’s  weather. About as predictable year to year as it’s footy side.

I cant see us losing a game next year.

Too early?

A trip to Spec Savers might be in order.

Who drew the game at Whyalla?

Well, we're off to a perfect start.   Undefeated and equal top of the ladder in 2020 so far.

So, one game in the [censored] end of nowhere and the other a Friday night blockbuster in Launceston. Could've been worse I guess.

Port have to go to Whyalla and Moreton Bay. We can’t complain!

Give it time - I'm sure a few posters will find something to complain about.

How pointless is North Melbourne vs Bulldogs at docklands? Surely playing that at Arden street or Whitten Oval makes more sense.

The Demons return to town fresh off a thumping win over the back-to-back wooden spooners, the West Coast Eagles, played in front of a sparse crowd at Marvel Stadium, the same venue that hosted last week's heartbreaking loss.

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.
