Watching from NZ. I’m giving this a quarter before I give up and go to bed.

Thanks! Exciting times ? Before the start of the year I thought I was going to have to manage competing joys of fatherhood and a huge year from the Dees. As it's eventuated, I've had no distractions at all with being a good Dad haha. Let's hope we get things together before the kid is old enough to pick a team (I've already bought his gear).

“Pick a team”

Sorry , there’s no picky picky though i admire your desire to help him avoid a lifejme of misery . I was singing GOF to #1 4 hours after arrival as Mum was in surgery . Hilariously , he now does a ripping Pies, Hawks, Blues medley despite insisting he’s a Dees man, meanwhile number 2, at 7 months, because I am a pragmatic fellow, is Pies with mum.

I have been surprised at the loss of hours on the bike / legs with 1 let alone 2

its mad times though , I love being a dad

General question - whys Carey  called the “Duck”? And what’s with the black eye???

He picked a fight with the bitumen...

Na, he stacked on his face riding his bike.

Assume the brace position guys.

This will be rough.

It was my understanding that it wasn't.

No offence to you, but it’s absurd to think that no-one in the FD reviewed that game. It’s just not realistic. There are degrees of review, but to think it wasn’t reviewed at all is crazy.

One thing fr sure is we won’t let max get bullied off the ball this time. Expect fireworks if they try that.

Gee, Tim Smith will be feeling the pressure. Will probably get text messages at half time from Preuss, saying things like 'I hope you're enjoying borrowing my spot, just bring it back with the tank full'.

Honestly, I go into this game with a 'nothing to lose ' attitude. The whole AFL world will be expecting us to get a whacking, and even my plan for an incrementally delusional path to later season greatness doesn't include a win tonight.

Still, y' never know. And a win tonight would completely turn the story around, our early season horrors would be declared just that, and people would start praising our character and maturity. And of course, when you win, you can mention your injuries whenever you like.

Petracca clearly not happy about the responsibility of taking the shot.

Aaaand there it goes.

Still, in 4 minutes we've outscored our entire Prelim Final first half...

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
