Oh that's a shame...?

Said no Demon ever !!! ?

Hmm, what's the rest of their tall defender group like?

Hurley, Hartley, Ambrose, Francis. Only Hartley is is a 'true' tall among them, at 198cm, after that you're down to 193cm.

Whether Hooker misses outright or is simply underdone, it is looking like a good day for having Gawn and Preuss rotating forward.

Bodes well for two towers on field together, given that their rucks are Bellchambers (respectable enough but hardly intimidating, anyone got news on his progress from shoulder surgery?) and Zach Clarke who hasn't played an AFL game for two years.

Anything that can help us win the game is good. He is a tall strong defender similar to Steven May. Hurley can  play forward as well.

I like advantages.  Poor thing,  cough.

we need to make sure we don't go in too tall as they could run us off the park.  I wouldn't play Pruess in this one

And to think he was $12 to won Coleman.

As I have previously noted that is how bookies win.

Poor ugly fella, oh well.

Come on Ethan !!

Dont criticize the guy because of his looks. We cant all look like Chris Hemsworth. ( well , I do, but not everyone does )

It was more of an observation rather than a criticism. Although it sucks personally for fugly, I’m glad he won’t be playing against us and sucked in to Essendon.

Yeah those 4 behinds and 2 out on the full Daniher would have kicked will really make all the difference!

Now if the rest of their 22 could just get injured I'd be a happy man

the 'Top 4 Bombers' media have quietened down thank [censored]

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
