We're going early tomorrow morning and spending the day in Adelaide, before flying into Perth on Saturday morning.

Not confident, but hoping we can put up a good fight.

Don't worry Adam-they're weak as Pi55 in Adelaide.

You and the Mrs will be able to handle the lot of them.

Reporting for duty. In tomorrow night, out Saturday night, bring the insanity.

Wow AF  a stop over in Adelaide, how exciting.

Let's hope it gets better.

A win will make your sacrifices all worthwhile. And a direct flight back to Melbourne.

Me 2 , a hit and run visit either celebrate or commiserate on flight home

Apparently I am now, thanks to Spud.

Now to book the best flight I can on cheap notice!

At the gate lounge with the flight polo on.

Dee Zephyr is leading the way!

I bought plane tickets before they were crazy just after the Geelong game as I have family living out West.

I'm hoping the direct Qantas flight to Perth at 19:10 tomorrow is going to be full of red and blue!

I am. On Monday and Tuesday for work. I am normally garrulous, but if we lose I will be pretending I have a speech disability. If we win, do you think I could get away with wearing my Melbourne jumper in Perth?

I’ll be wearing mine and a scarf come Monday at work if we win. But I’ll also be wearing my gun.

Just saw where I’m sitting. Aisle 135.

Deep in enemy territory, near the Eagles cheers squad.

This will be fun ?

I have no idea what you're talking about Biffboy, but that's not unusual.

We’ve been driving around Perth all week with a demons car flag out the window and our Vic number plates, only 3 rude gestures so far ?‍♀️?

I have managed to commandeer Thunderbird 2 for the weekend so can take about 50 Dee supporters in the main pod and can drop you all in the middle of Optus Stadium just before kickoff. Hopefully I won’t scorch the turf too much.

Is anyone travelling from Melbourne to Perth on Tiger Flight: #403 leaving Tullamarine at 7:15 and arriving in Perth at 9.30?

I would be interested in sharing a Taxi from the airport to the stadium if anyone was willing.

best wishes

bill

Billy, bin and the range rover. Sounds like Perth FM radio show not 3 blokes sharing a taxi

So I have two spare tickets for Saturday's prelim (each in different areas - one that's level 5 aisle 526 for $130, the other being level 1 aisle 144 for $190). Happy to sell at cost price. First Dee first served so PM me or what not if you're keen. ☺️

My youngest brother borrowed money from me and my oldest just to go. He’s nuts

With all the alleged “supporters” pleading for bar codes to be eligible for seats, it is in stark contrast to the 100,000 Richmond members and 70,000 Collingwood members who all have bar codes but there are not enough seats to go around!  Maybe there is a lesson there for Melbourne ”barackers” to convert to Melbourne “supporters” and take out membership?

As a MCC/MFC member I won’t be using my barcode for this match, preferring instead to watch it live on the big screen in the ‘Members ‘ at the MCG!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
