dl4e 5,851 Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 The 2 that I can remember are Stan Alves and Greg Wells. Spalding was a good player as well. Quote
Jibroni 5,062 Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 Jeff Farmer. Would also have first dibs at his son. Quote
Daddyorox 15 Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 Michael Byrne, a ruckman who was off-loaded to Hawthorn and won a premiership with them in the mid-80's Quote
poita 3,945 Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 A fit Scully would be great now, but I don't blame him for leaving. Martin & Thompson are the two that I really regretted seeing leave. Quote
La Dee-vina Comedia 17,137 Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 Barassi would be my choice. But there's a player we drafted who never came to us but eventually played elsewhere who would have been pretty handy: Darren Jarman Quote
Skuit 10,031 Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 If we had Dunn and Howe right now we'd be serious contenders for the worst injury list. Scully would be the cherry. Quote
Dr.D 1,771 Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 I can live with scully leaving because it was pure money but I don't know why for the life of me we traded stef martin? He was always going to become elite. He was elite when given opportunity to ruck solo. He should have been prioritised over jolly/jamar or anyone else that was the reason we traded him out. Quote

Expand Mitch Clark may or may not have made a pass at Stef's girlfriend. After that point, it may or may not have mattered. Stef wanted out, and we were doing anything we could to keep Mitch happy. Martin Pike is definitely the most successful ex-Demon, but nobody would have seen four flags coming after his time with us and Fitzroy. Quote
