They’ve played heaps better since 1/4 time

Geelong play Gold Coast in Rd23...in Geelong...186 may be under threat

Geelong isn't even in the 8.

As Bartel said, Goodwin would want to keep and build good habits in the last, not slacken off

Only this club could make a 70 point lead look like [censored].

This Gold Coast team wouldn’t score against Richmond’s system. They get a shot basically every time they go forward against us.

2nd best percentage in the comp with 4 less wins not enough for you?

its not about % Chook. It's about psychology.

Great effort from Hogan.

He's not a marking forward's bootlace right now, but he's…something.

A tall midfielder? A defensive forward? IDK

Vince being destroyed by Sexton

My lord a bunch of whingers in here. Newsflash: We're not Richmond.

Credit to Hogan, has worked his way into the game beautifully after a sloppy start

So nice to hear from you

Wow. Leave it demonlanders to be glass half empty about this game.

Also, lol @ anyone who thinks Jesse isn't a good pack mark.

Enjoy it. My lord there are moaners on here.

What did you guys say when we were on the other side of wallopings like this?

Great mark from Jesse and goal, he created the last goal and deserved reward for effort on that.

Bugger

Smith shoulder again. This poor kid can't take a trick.

Sounds like Smith has done his shoulder again

Smith down... thought it was Hogan for a second.

It's a shame he has been good today.

Smith was probably playing his best game today. Typical Melbourne.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
